Top notch service. The waiter was very patient with my husband and I, who had less than desirable chop stick skills and even showed us the most effective way to use them! The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, and the ambience was delightful. There are lots of vegan options and choices other than sushi, too. Quiet and personal.I absolutely love it and will go again.

Stopped for a quick lunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised, never been here before but the menu looked good. The service was excellent and the food was delivered quickly, we were the only ones in the restaurant tho probably due to the food stalls directly outside! fresh and tasty platter to share and Pad Thai! definitely worth a visit and reasonably priced sides & mains, overall very good

We came from St Albans, the first time having dinner here. Flying Elephant is good. All Staff are professional and friendly. We appreciate the sushi chef, he is nice and professional. We like the food he recommended. Sushi is very yummy.

We visited on Friday evening after hearing a good review from a friend of a friend. Wasn't at all sure what to expect as from outside it doesn't look particularly inviting. Inside is clean and modern and I think was probably the interior from the previous restaurant. We were met by a gentleman (who we later found out was the owner) who was friendly attentive and accommodating. The menu was pan asian but was a little confusing if like me you like a full description of what you are ordering. My Husband settled for a set sushi meal, I had the Thai green curry and my son the vegetarian sushi option along with 2 servings of Gyosa. Not all the food came at the same time, waiting a little longer for the curry. However we had a great seat, we chatted to the staff all of whom were exceptionally attentive apologising profusely for any delays. Our waitress also introduced herself as joint owner and it was evident throughout the evening this was a new family business. Many of the staff seemed new and my only criticism is that the waiting staff seemed a little disorganised. However that did not detract from a wonderful evening. Everyone we spoke to was unfailingly polite and helpful...would we visit again definitely!! And the food? Was absolutely delicious the thai green curry was to die for and the sushi so fresh and pretty....as the owner said to us on departing but the food is good yes....and yes we have to agree!! Really hope this is a successful venture and something very different from the usual the pasta, pizza places in town.

Absolutely lovely food! Just got ourselves a takeaway and my partner who's never even had Thai absolutely adored it. 🥰 Staff were so kind, too and let us wait inside as I was freezing. Will definitely go again!

Absolutely amazing good service. Nam took great care of us during the visit. The food was authentic and rich in flavour. She was enthusiastic and made good recommendations for us in terms of what to get. She is a credit to the company.

Amazing and friendly service! The food was delicious - best pad thai prawns ever! The bankgog style pepper and salt squid was something new for us and we really liked it! Disappointed a bit for the thai basil stir fried beef - not too much beef for 12£ value. It was very tasty, but the peppers and onions were uncooked.

Finally glad to find a restaurant in telford that does proper Asian quinine. Me and my partner visited the restaurant and also got a take out and both were exactly the same in quality, flavor and presentation. The flavor is outstanding in all the dishes we tried, my favourite is the chicken and cashew. I also highley reccomend both gyoza options and now we are customers for life. Thank you so much for the gorgeous food.

I am Japanese customer and have recently ate Thai lunch at The Flying Elephant & taken sushi take away for rest of my Japanese relatives for dinner. We are delighted to finally have a decent Thai & Japanese restaurant in Telford. The staffs are friendly and the atmosphere is very positive with good intentions. The sushi tastes very genuine/authentic and the selection of fresh fish are impressive also. Well done Flying Elephant and I wish you all the success in Telford, I will certainly be back 👍
