We had an amazing dining experience at Bahar. Loved the upstairs dining room, our server/host Samuel was very hospitable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Samuel's recommendation of the House Special Bahar King-Prawn Curry was absolutely delicious. We also had Kingfisher Beer, Channa Masala, Chicken Biryani and Butter Naan. Everything was spot-on! Highly recommend Bahar!!
What an awesome meal. From the time we walked in until the moment we left, the staff were helpful, polite and attentive. The food arrived promptly and hot. The staff left us to our meal until it was clear we'd finished the course. It was worth every penny and they will definitely get our custom in the future. Well done team for an amazing evening.
Came to Bahar when the restaurant we had planned to visit was closed but didn't regret it. Good food, reasonably priced, and excellent service. Will come here again.
100% recommend!! By far the best curry around here. We visit regularly and always have the best experience for both sitting in & take away. Staff are always very friendly & welcoming.
Absolutely amazing, the staff were perfect, but they were genuinely interested in how we felt about our food, and not only that... One staff member even joined in on our discussion! We were talking about a certain topic, in which I bought up bullying - which he overheard and couldn't help but ask if anyone was being bullied and looked very worried.

We recently dined at this establishment and my goodness were we thrilled. In particular, the king prawn dish that I was recommended was a mouthwatering and delightful experience encompassed in a perfectly seasoned dish. So many delicate flavors came through and the flavor profile was so well balanced. My husband, hailing from Bradford, is very conservative with his praise for south Asian cuisine. But even he was raving. In fact, we’re considering bringing additional friends and family down just to try this food.
Had the best meal ever last night and we couldn't fault it at all. The staff were so friendly and quick to take an order and bring our food out to us. Extremely clean. Food wasn't over priced either. Would highly recommended and I just wish they were our local restaurant.
First time visit last night, was absolutely blown away by the fabulous choice of vegetarian meals. We had the poppadum's and chutneys one of which was really unique and tasty. Had the korai and hubby had the clay-pot again, delicious and so different from the normal run of the mill. Staff were lovely and welcoming. A lovely atmosphere to dine in. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for making our evening special.
Excellent meal. Monkfish beautifully cooked in an unique blend of spices, flavoursome Bhindi cooked to a perfect texture,keema naan contained just right amount of meat and was nice and tasty- Bahar biryani was an excellent mixture of meats served with a veg curry with the right consistency .Staff were very friendly and attentive.Will definitely return when next staying in the area.
Just had the best veg samosa I have ever tried. My partner had the hot and spicy sheek kabab. She really enjoyed the opportunity to have a choice
I have the veg korai, and my partner had the garlic chilli we both really enjoyed the meals. This would be a regular restaurant of choice if we didn't live in the Wirral.
Stopped here on our way passing through back to London. Pleasantly surprised by the quality, the flavours and the staff. The man serving us was really friendly and very attentive. Really impressed by the food, would recommend.
We had take out while on holiday in the area. Nice curry. Phoned to order and was ready to pick up when they said.
Lovely food as ever and was properly busy which was good to see. The only reason for dropping a star was because two out of the three people who served us that evening didn't crack a smile at all which makes you feel highly unwelcome.
Having just moved to the area, this was our first takeaway. It was absolutely amazing. The food was so tasty and delicious. The food was hot and fresh, will definitely be eating here again soon.
I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a longtime now as we visit the restaurant frequently for takeaway or to dine in!
The service is above expectations from all the staff making it a very warm welcome everytime, dining areas are very nicely fitted out to a high standard.
As for the food in all the years we have visited has never once let us down, covering all types of dishes from very flavoursome to tasty but hot dishes.
I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough not only in Tenbury but 1 of the best in the country and well worth a visit to!
