Came to Bahar when the restaurant we had planned to visit was closed but didn't regret it. Good food, reasonably priced, and excellent service. Will come here again.

We had an amazing dining experience at Bahar. Loved the upstairs dining room, our server/host Samuel was very hospitable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Samuel's recommendation of the House Special Bahar King-Prawn Curry was absolutely delicious. We also had Kingfisher Beer, Channa Masala, Chicken Biryani and Butter Naan. Everything was spot-on! Highly recommend Bahar!!

What an awesome meal. From the time we walked in until the moment we left, the staff were helpful, polite and attentive. The food arrived promptly and hot. The staff left us to our meal until it was clear we'd finished the course. It was worth every penny and they will definitely get our custom in the future. Well done team for an amazing evening.

Food was delicious. Drinks were great.
2 starters, 2 mains, garlic fried rice, chapati, pint of beer and 2 double vodkas and 2 cans Diet Coke = £47. So very reasonable. Lovely staff.
Free street parking after 6pm.

We recently dined at this establishment and my goodness were we thrilled. In particular, the king prawn dish that I was recommended was a mouthwatering and delightful experience encompassed in a perfectly seasoned dish. So many delicate flavors came through and the flavor profile was so well balanced. My husband, hailing from Bradford, is very conservative with his praise for south Asian cuisine. But even he was raving. In fact, we’re considering bringing additional friends and family down just to try this food.

Excellent meal. Monkfish beautifully cooked in an unique blend of spices, flavoursome Bhindi cooked to a perfect texture,keema naan contained just right amount of meat and was nice and tasty- Bahar biryani was an excellent mixture of meats served with a veg curry with the right consistency .Staff were very friendly and attentive.Will definitely return when next staying in the area.
