I really did not expect to be shocked, but I was... Pleasenty shocked of course, the place is stunning. Its a mixture old relic hallways, books, book shelfs and dining rooms. And then you walk in to your room, elegant, stylish, not over the top, just perfect combination. Really enjoyed the atmospher
Visited here whilst staying on holiday in the area. A nice selection of beer and a small but comfortable beer garden. Food is served from 6pm and we had a decent selection of tapas dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Had dinner there last night with our friends, it was superb, salmon to start, lamb shanks for main Best lamb I have ever tasted, crispy skin , the meat just fell off the bone. Great wine and excellent service, can’t wait to go back!

Nice country pub, with a little outdoor area for smoking. Selection of three draught real ales, and small selection of good whiskies. Very good food. Not cheap, but not unreasonable.
Friendly, warm staff, great food. Modern British menu, with some interesting twists, good wine list. I have not stayed here overnight but the public rooms are comfortable and inviting. Do try it!
Lovely spacious room, tastefully furnished. Comfy bed and super bathroom. Good menu in restaurant at reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and obliging. Will be back next year!
A large group of us 22, descended on this country pub. The staff were amazing, serving us food and drink. Good selection of sandwiches and brunch, which suited us perfectly

A beautiful place to stay. We only stayed the one night and unfortunately didn't eat here apart from breakfast which was lovely. The service we had was very good warm and friendly. I'd definitely come back.

Very pleasant place nice old country pub been meaning to pop in for years as drive pass it.food lovely staff polite nice garden so if you got kids on a nice summer days to chill on garden defo worth a visit and I've been back within a week and yes very friendly place
Thoroughly enjoyed our stopover at this great pub/Inn serving good quality food and drink with comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff made this a memorable break.
