The service, the food and the wine was utterly sublime. A very local shellfish dish to begin, a very local fish dish for mains. But to be offered Brill as a substitute for plaice as you had sold out was a wonderful surprise for me. Many compliments to the chef. To couple this with the white wine from Wales in a place that shall not be named (you need to go and have a meal to find out) it was stunning. Many thanks for a most wonderful evening meal and we shall see you next year.

A fantastic place. Friendly staff with outstanding food. I had the mackerel to start, followed by he chicken. Nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be going again. Would like to go at lunch time and have food over the terrace over looking the sea.

We visited here on Tuesday evening using a Travelzoo voucher. And we were so pleased the voucher introduced us to this fine restaurant. From the start we had lovely service - friendly, informative and professional. Our food was delicious without exception - the lamb and beef cooked to perfection. All seasoned beautifully too. Would highly recommend The Salt Cellar. One of the best meals we've had!

Really good food- sophisticated dining- great flavours at an affordable price. Chic dining but family friendly in the heart of Tenby. We will be retuning and recommend it to anyone wanting restaurant food in relaxed and beautiful surroundings.

Recently enjoyed a first class meal at this intimate, well run restaurant. Thoughtful care has been taken to create a relaxing ambiance with good lighting and comfortable seating. Background music was well selected and just right for us. The menu offered an excellent choice and we were delighted to see local freshly sourced produce being used. All courses were delicious and exquisitely presented. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, where you can be assured of excellent service by friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This restaurant is clearly a cut above, the decor and finish is second to none, the customer service is outstanding, our only gripe was our mains choice. Visited the Salt Cellar the weekend before Easter 2018, it came highly recommended by a friend, so we booked well in advance. Arrived a little early so we were seated in the bar at first, bottle of Rioja £19 you expect to pay in most restaurants. The menu was small and well thought out, which I love. My wife ordered the Pigs Cheek, and I the Spring Lamb starters, my wife loved hers, my choice was good but wish I’d ordered the same after a taste. We both ordered Pembrokeshire Beef for mains, which was basically steak and chips, we asked for medium rare which these were not, We both agreed we would have ordered something else, but the chips and the greens were delicious.

Myself and a friend had a drink on the terrace. Amazing location with a beautiful garden. Shame that smoking is permitted on there.

My 5 star rating is based solely on the excellent cappuccinos my wife and I had. Lovely to sit in the sunshine on the terrace across the road. Update: Went back for lunch and had the Crispy Halloumi which was superb. Highly recommended and my earlier 5 stars was well deserved.

Best restaurant in Tenby, thanks to Duncan Barham, a wizard in the kitchen. Beef and cod pics mains, both delicious.

Had a beautiful meal here last weekend. The ambiance is cool and calm, a far cry from the pubs and bars nearby. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming and the food was really first class. Very inventive, a new favourite. Oh, and the home made soda bread is the best bread I've ever eaten. Literally.
