Popped here today with my mum. Friendly welcome, great coffee and had the cheese and meat board for two. Really nice if you're into your cheeses and different meats. Great value for money, would definitely recommend a visit. Also do other food as well :)

We visited with friends as a group of 6 (sitting on the 2 tables outside) for tea and cake. The owner is the sweetest, most friendly man especially given these crazy times! The carrot cake was probably the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. Everyone loved their cakes.
Shame the below review by Tracey feels the need to criticise for having a whole table just to get soft drinks and no food - and having to pay full price. Come on no need for moans! Would love to visit again if we are in the area.
My number 1 choice in Tenterden for REAL coffee! Fabulous croissants, just the way they should be! The baguettes are crisp and soft at the same time and filled with the most amazing fresh ingredients of your choice and lovingly prepared by the owners. It’s a small but beautiful place where peope talk to each other and practicing your French is much encouraged. Very nice owner who care. Very highly recommended.
Very charming little French cafe with really lovely and welcoming French owners. Really recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic and homely cafe to chill out with good food. Delicious "croque-monsieurs" (which can also be made vegetarian!), salads and coffee/cakes. Very quaint building on the lovely high street of Tenterden. Very dog-friendly too, our dogs got spoilt by Isabelle who gave them some ham as a treat! Thank you Eric and Isabelle, we will be back!
Found this place by chance a year ago and experienced wonderful service and an incredible cheese and meat board. Took a deliberate detour on our holidays to visit this year and, if anything, had even more wonderful service and even more incredible food. The portion size is phenomenal - I'm not sure I could buy that quantity of cheese and meat in a supermarket for the same price. Already planning next year's visit.
A Lovely charming little place. I sampled a really delicious cheese ham baguette. Quality ingredients. Very caring service. Unforgettable flavour of the chutney.
Lovely cafe with great food and service. The owners are charming and the interior is comfortable. I will go again the next time I am in Tenterden - well worth a visit.
