Quirky tipi cafe with woodburner. Seating settees and table and chairs. We had toasted sandwiches which were ok but not the best. Latte disappointing - very strong and served in small cups. Would return but would choose different food and drinks option.

Fabulous venue. We arrived for a Sunday afternoon drink. Great local beers, had some mulled wine which was great as the sun began to set. We sat outside, but there is a gorgeous teepee with couches and a fireplace. Live jazz was playing, and the dog and kids enjoyed rumbling around outside. We even had a lovely guest join us!

Good coffee and the blueberry and orange cake was excellent. Quirky little place out in the countryside. Nice to be away from the crowds.

Really lovely place, only went for a coffee but ended up having cake, you can hire bikes and even stay a few night in huts

We stopped here on a bike ride on the weekend. It was a super cute little spot with a relaxing environment and good light lunch food. They have an outside area and a tented area to sit. The tented area is very relaxing to sit in.

This is one of the most sureal places to stay in the UK. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the cafe is great as well but the accommodation (in this case MacMillan House) was amazing. The wood fire hot tub, custom built furniture and beautiful fire pit/BBQ area. We sat with the lights off at night looking at the stars and hearing nature all around us. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to get away and relax.

My husband, dog and I spent the weekend at Wild Carrot. We had an amazing time!! The Shepherd’s Hut (Plum Tree) was wonderfully secluded but beautifully appointed. We made great use of the fire-heated hot tub in the sunset and even noshed on s’mores over the open for pit. Hilary (our host) was super responsive to any questions or challenges (we’re city people and couldn’t start a fire!). My husband told me as we sat quietly in the hut, he expected to be stressed the whole weekend from the drive to the environmentally friendly toilet, but he was so relaxed he’s agreed to come again (major praise!!). Our dog had a fabulous time sleeping on the rug and running open fields and getting hopelessly muddy. The outdoor shower came in handy making sure he didn’t track that in! Would 100% recommend!!

Great place for a light bite to eat, out of the normal. Grwat beer selection from local bewers. Surrounded by good walks, just watch out for the idiots who drive too fast in the narrow roads.

We took a group of about ten from the Timsbury Cycle Group up to the Wild Carrot at the end of August. Met by front of house Hilary who told us all about the various drinks, snack and cakes to eat. We had a spot inside the large marquee tent with the fire roaring which was lovely. Be sure to look up and spot the vintage lampshades! Plenty of space to safely park our bikes up including hanging racks for bikes. I understand you can also rent bikes here for trips around the Cotswolds. There's gravel paths but some logs cut out to make it easy to walk around in cycling shoes. We had a lovely coffee, flapjacks, cakes and bacon Ciabatta There there was also brie and mushroom Ciabatta as well. There is another undercover area with nice comfy sofas. I understand some of Poldark was filmed here as well although we didn't spot him and his bare chest! A great trip. Ideal for cycle groups. Thanks for looking after us. FIVE STARS!

Lovely staff here! I've stopped here a few times now while out on a long bike ride and they are always accommodating. They are keen to improve their provisions for cyclists, I was excited to be told by Karen (I think was her name?). Tasty coffee (they have dairy alternatives), and a very tranquil and relaxing setting. Keep doin' what ya doin'.
