Small chippy Which is really busy.. we had a pretty basic order of 3 haddock and chips and got a great portion each.. freshly cooked and hot with good chips..

Friendly staff, generally short waiting times and good food. Get loads of chips and they are not soggy like many places locally. Good sized portions of fish and chips and so much choice of other food too.

Great fish and chips, friendly staff, never have to wait too long. The batter on the fish is lovely and crispy and they are always happy do skinless cod. Easy to park opposite and they take card payments too.

We try and have something different, never been disappointed with food or staff. Pukka pies are fresh and fish is very tasty. Highly recommend this establishment

This fish and chip is the best you have down south, I’m a Yorkshire man from the home of good fish and chip’s it as taken several years of living down south before I found a decent chippy, I do have to travel a 40 mile round trip for the privilege of having such good fish and chips and try to make the journey every week, but due to me having a bad accident the other day it might be several weeks before I can visit again so I hope the workers in the chippy read this and understand why I have not been in for their lovely fish and chips and wish them all the best, (lovely people) Love from John.

Thoroughly impressed. It's a bit dated and inside and could do with a refresh but let's be pragmatic - it's a chip shop so we can ignore that and just go and get some great fish and chips from here
