Wild Lemongrass

Overall fantastic service from start to finish, food was tasty and fresh, staff were friendly. The only thing that left me disappointed was discovering that placing my order over the phone would have been about 90p cheaper per item. Avoid the online menu for delivery/collection orders, I ended up paying almost £6 more than I would have by calling.

Took ages to try this Chinese as didn’t think it would be as good as others because it’s in a sports centre for some mad reason. Have now had about 4 takeaways and each is better than the last. Have eaten in some really plush Chinese restaurants over the years and I honestly think this is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Always steaming hot when it arrives (and always on time) and we’re 5 miles out of Thame. Large portions, well wrapped but most importantly everything is so fresh and tastes delicious. As an example chicken in fried rice often tastes a bit old or like it’s from an off cut - theirs tastes like pure chicken breast and as though it was cooked fresh and just put in the rice. I also never write reviews certainly not long ones like this but it really is fantastic so felt I had to! Highly recommend 😊

We used Wild Lemongrass for the first time tonight, purely because the phone line to the take-away we'd usually use was engaged for ages. I think I've quite possibly eaten the best Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef I've ever tasted!. Chuck in some Singapore Rice and BBQ Sauce and that was simply awesome food! Other half has raved about his S&S Chicken Balls and how crispy and filled with chunks of meat they were, so I'd that's an all round win! This will be our new regular pitstop for Chinese food - totally deserving of 5 stars!
