Fish was huge smelt beautiful and was chucky and white inside chicken was fresh and juice
Love the fact the new owners brought back gluten-free and any time of day! You have to give it longer to be cooked as cooked completely to order, however, it's worth it. The only thing we've found is occasionally the fish comes out a bit greasy but still tastes good. The GF options are not badly pri
Hungry, looking for a good fish and chips shop then you have to visit this place. It can be sometimes busy and the reason for this is that its popular here serving customers great selection of meals available.
As fish and chip shops go, this is a good one. Under new management for a while now. I'm not here that often but the food, service and atmosphere were exactly as you would want from a good "chippy".
My favourite chippy in Thatcham! They also have a gluten free menu so we made a big order for Guide camp, which they were able to cater.
Friendly, quick service. Would have been five stars, but the extra cheese I paid for wasn't there.

Under new management and the food is excellent quality and quantity. It is very popular fish and chip shop so expect a queue on a Friday evening or order online which is the best thing to do. Staff are friendly and efficient.

This Fish Bar is under new management and is so much better than a couple of months ago.
We had Fish and chips and it was so fresh and hot (a couple of months ago it was disgusting stale oil and chips had been reheated).
So pleased we gave this shop another chance.
