Nice enough pub, fairly pricey but not too wild, could do with a ramp for the upper section at the back as it's not wheelchair accessible.

Hired out part of the pub for a birthday party, the planning of the event with staff was a great experience and they were very helpful, the buffet was great and all got eaten, the staff let us come early to set up some balloons etc for the event. Everything seemed perfect.
The only issues were that they didn't get in the drinks we asked for (they told us these wouldn't be a problem to get in for the day...) They also kicked everyone out at 12:30am when we had paid extra to get the late license until 1:30am... which is a shame as everything else was great!

Went in for food today the kids enjoyed the kids meals, me and my partner had the cheesy chips that was amazing, the bar staff are very friendly and the pub is amazing for the kids, we will definitely be back again

Since Steph and Kath have taken the pub over its a very different pub from The Mill of old. It's a local that I'm now happy to take the family to for some great food or a game of pool with the kids. The locals are a great bunch, always polite and chatty, and notably keep the language down when the kids are in, a credit to the work the girls have done to turn the pub clientele around. -Keep an eye out for live music, family fun days, music and themed nights. The family fun day that they just hosted was a hit with parents and kids alike. And the Pizzas are knock out! -But be warned, the spicy pizza is just that, if you can handle it. ;)

Came here with some family after a local hike. Very quiet, but the staff were friendly and it's dog friendly. We sat in the garden which was nice. Food was good and hot. Contrary to a previous review, the peas were not "hard as bullets". Would come again.

Barstaff are awesome, pints are great (good choices and taste fresh) - not often you can get a Madri on tap, and dog friendly too. Can recommend, will be back more often
