The Star Pub & Kitchen

WOW Great food, if you want a decent roast dinner with plenty on your plate this is definitely the place to be. Andrea and Michelle very helpful and friendly. UNFORTUNATELY since this photo this lovely family country pub is now a pizza/burger pub. I have not been in so I cannot comment on how good the burgers and pizzas are all I know we have lost a great British Sunday roast.

We were lucky enough to have Rebecca kindly agree for us to have our wedding reception at The Star! We were so pleased that we chose this amazing little brasserie to invite our loved ones too after we got married. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The pub itself inside is so pretty and the garden area just perfect. All our guests said how lovely it was too. We are planning on returning next week for our 1 year anniversary for a bite to eat and drink. If anyone is passing by or thinking of popping in or not. Do it. You will be welcomed with a smile and have 5/5 service :)

Excellent service friendly and attentive. Food was superb i had shated platter camebert divine and small bowls fabulous squid ! he had pork shnitzel with a prawn salad starter x sauce was homemade delightful on starter and the roast potatoes were like mums best to die for!!! Will be back !! Reasonably priced worth every penny

As we passing by we decided to have a pub meal we've came across this pub went in we were greeted with a nice welcome and a smile after seating down and looked at the menu we've decided on the king prawn linguini and a coq au vin and as a starter I've had the crayfish salad...the starter arrived although I didn't see much of the crayfish the salad tasted nice on to the main dishes my dish was really nice and tasty and my partner enjoyed her linguini ... overall we were satisfied with what we've had ...if you ever in this area give it a look 😁

TONI AND GUY PETERBOROUGH We booked the Star Brasserie for our Christmas Party/Team Building. From the beginning of the booking via telephone till the very end had great communication and great customer service from Andrea and her team. This continued with a very warm welcome throughout. We booked Sunday Roast, which consisted of selection of meats, yorkshire pudding and vegetables. We put in a special request of cauliflower cheese, as this was not on the menu..and yep, they got it!! Ian the chef delivered our request and the food was delicious !! They even got involved in our wicked sense of humour with a game of "describe the chef" overall a fantastic experience with these guys!!
