A lovely pub serving up the classics to an excellent standard. We enjoyed it all, but the stars of the show were the chicken burger and the mac & cheese. The chicken gravy that comes with the burger was so good that when we visited again we asked for 2 portions. We’ve visited another pub in the chain loads because it’s opposite work, but the execution of the menu here is a million times better. Compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The staff were so lovely and the place is really inviting. There’s a great play area for the kids too. We had 2 mains, 2 starters/small plates and 2 large soft drinks for just under £50.

Lovely visit and I only came across having taken a detour home and better still, it’s almost right on my door step. I believe the restaurant has recently been refurbished and I found it to be pleasant. Plenty of parking, clean interior, beer garden, an easy online booking facility and classic pub food Staff were friendly, service was prompt although it was a quieter time when we visited so could not offer comment at busier times. Would definitely visit again and more than likely more regularly now after first experience.

First time coming here, looks lovely. Food was very tasty and at reasonable prices. Pay at the bar when you order so no waiting around for a bill once you've finished which is good
