This was without doubt the best fish & chips I've eaten in ages. Had haddock twice and a pineapple fritter with chips, fresh taste, great flavour haddock, and the batter was so crunchy and sealed the fish beautifully, if I lived closer I would be in more often. But I shall return. Bang on!
This was the first fish and chips place I'd eaten at since arriving in the UK. I've eaten at a few more since then, but none have been better than this one. Maybe it's time I go back and just concede it's the best one in my local area.
Possibly the best fish and chips around Thetford. I wouldn't say this is gourmet but for fast food and your typical Fish & Chip shop, they are a step above the rest. They offer exceptional quality in terms of taste and texture, plus good value for money. Not too greasy plus have a good variety. The only thing missing is a battered Mars bar or Snickers.
