we’ve come here for dinner tonight and we are bowled over by how lovely it is here! you wouldn’t expect it upon seeing the front, but there is a beautiful beer garden out the back with little huts for hire and it is such a scenic experience! our waitresses were beautiful and polite, the food was cooked to perfection, and they had a vegan menu with variety which makes a change from the usual falafel and hummus! everything was well priced, overall a gorgeous pub which we will be returning to soon! 🤍
Fantastic pub and restaurant. Spent a fortune since the pandemic to cater for customers. Great outside areas, open, under cover and private pods. Best pub in thetford by a long way.
I visited here with friends. Our table was waiting for us and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was friendly, and the good was delicious and plentiful. I recommend this pub.
Amazing Sunday roast! We were visiting the area and looked for a place to have lunch. We were very lucky to find this pub as they serve one of the best Sunday roasts I have tried for a long time. We ordered the mixed Sunday roast, which included turkey, pork and beef and lots of veggies. The roast potatoes were delicious and the Yorkshire pudding was just in the right point. The gravy was homemade and they also served a side dish of cauliflower with cheese. On top of that, it was affordable. I highly recommend this place. The attention was also very good and the locals very nice.
Excellent!! A proper nice little pub with friendly staff. We had dinner there and the food was served quickly, but not too quickly, it was delicious and extremely fairly priced. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Lovely atmosphere, lively little pub which has great music bands on at the weekends. But also nice and chilled inside which is reminiscent of a very old house with wooden beams and a fire place.

Just popped in for a bite to eat. We rang as we were 5 minutes away. Lovely reception on the phone. Warm welcome. Nice atmosphere. Oh and the food was great. And reasonably priced

First time visit here although under sad circumstances ( a wake ) we were treated with great dignity and respect from all the staff and were seated in the coverd outside pagoda for privacy.... The buffet provided was exceptional with all hot and cold food been home made. I would definitely like to return as the food that was bought out to other customers looked delicious.
Fantastic Sunday Roast... they had several meat choices, amazing gravy, roasted veggies, potatoes, etc. We chose beef and Turkey. Delicious and 100% worth going! Oh and the desserts were good too.
