Beautiful venue . Lovely afternoon tea for a group of ladies Friendly staff However could have been improved with pots of tea rather than tea bags on saucer not only would this look better but if a pot of tea was provided with hot water less work for staff backwards and forwards for second cups of tea ( which should in my view not have incurred an extra charge for second cup ) Not an expensive alteration it would have greatly improved our experience.

I booked an afternoon tea for myself and my Mum for an early birthday treat today and I highly recommend the whole experience. The food was delicious and there was so much we had to take cakes home. The owners were very helpful and friendly, a definite jewel added to Thetford's crown x

My husband and I use this cafe every Tuesday on our lunch break .The service is really friendly and the food is excellent ,tasty and good value for money .I would definitely recommend the toasted sandwiches they have a vegetarian options, Also the homemade cakes which are generous portions and delicious too! Well worth a visit if you are in Thetford

This is a very friendly little tea room with a wide variety of freshly baked cakes, sandwiches etc. Always very welcoming, and prices are brilliant. Not a bad word to be said xx

The Guildhall Tearoom is a fantastic place to be, Emma and Lisa are two of the most welcoming people I've met. Their food is utterly brilliant and very reasonably priced considering. The vast array of homeade cakes put an even larger smile on your face, and everything they sell is a hit with locals.
