Food was good, and the 2 girls on reception were good too, however trying to see if food was gluten free was a nightmare! They had to keep going in the back to ask and no one knew! I took a chance as they said nothing was gluten free! but I was fine.

This was my first time using Magic Wok and it was for a big family order. We had about 10 items off the menu and they were all delicious. The order was quick and they told me ahead of time that it was cash only (not a problem as there is a cash point just over the road).
I would definately order from them again.

Great food, nice staff. We shared the meal for one with 1/4 duck and it was more than enough. Great tasting food at a good price. Place is spotless clean.

Sometimes when you're on the road for work in a small town you'll go for a takeaway and are prepared to be disappointed ... This was brilliant ... tasty as anything and quick to phone and collect. Thank you from a grateful traveller.

My favourite Chinese in thirsk food is fantastic reasonably priced staff are always friendly and the food is always fast and hot note that they take cash only and don't accept card but the is a cash point machine literally round the corner

Last meal was not good. This time better but chop suey spring roll only contained char sui and beansprouts. 4 pieces (2 slices of bread) prawn toast for £5 is expensive. Won ton soup tasty.

Always good food. Have ordered from the many times and I would highly recommend. Good size portions and not badly priced either. Will definitely order again

2nd visit here and still as good. Great service from the counter staff and really good food. Can't say it's my favourite Chinese but it's not far off. Will be back when I'm next in Thirsk.

Absolutely lovely. Nice and clean, doesn't feel super greasy or stodgy. Not only that, very very tasty. Best prawn toast I've had.

Food is delicious and staff are friendly and helpful if you have an allergy problem and need to know what's in the ingredients counter staff are well informed and polite and well presented I always enjoy my experience here
