My husband, brother-in-law and I stayed at Kings Chambers for 5 nights beginning of June. The staff couldn't have been my accommodating ! I'm on crutches and had a room on 1st floor bil had ground floor , we asked if we could swap rooms but they went 1 better and offered me an easy access room. We jumped at the chance... no messing around it had a wet room rather than a bath so much easier for me thankyou Peter. David, Kelly, Deborah and everybody else who's name I have forgotten thankyou for making our stay memorable and we will be coming back later in the year
This is a hidden gem , food was really nice , good atmosphere and the staff are very helpful and have ‘smiley’ faces , will definitely be back
We came for a Sunday Carvery, booked online and all 3 adults have walking difficulties. We were allocated a table close to the Carvery, food was very good, chef serving was excellent as was the bar staff. Also the place was clean and staff cleared up and cleaned as soon as tables were finished. An excellent experience throughout. Well done team !
The staff were very polite and helpful. The drinks were made fast and food was ordered promptly. I was given some seating that was in a little nook which was great. The food then came out very fast and was nice and hot still. Everything tasted very nice. The staff came over to check that everything was to my satisfaction and afterwards the plates were cleared fast. I was also given the option of ordering some pudding or more drinks which I did. Overall my experience was great and the food was fantastic. I will definitely be coming here again.
Love coming here for carvery, we hadn't booked a table and they could still accommodate us as a walk in, the food is mostly delicious, jay the server was great, will be back!
Had a small issue with the food after talking to the staff in a calm polite manner they soon sorted things out . Mistakes happen it's how you sort them out that count . The staff are very professional and attentive. Yes I would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay.
Visited for a family get together there were 18 off us they accommodated us all on one section behind the glass area which was nice and private. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Tim nothing was too much. Every one had different meals, which all said was very nice. The carvery was really good the beef was so soft and the Yorkshire puddings were massive, the creamy potatoes were delicious too. The steaks were good cooked to perfection. We all stayed for deserts they have a variety off good deserts. The giant cakes are really good the lemon and chocolate one was very popular on our table and everyone said they were delicious. Would defiantly recommend booking a big group booking as service was still excellent even though there waa 18 off us.
One of my favourite pubs in the local area been coming here for years. The pictures below show what me and my partner had tonight and I have no complaints. The food was filling and good value for money. The atmosphere in the pub was great as always. Every time I have had carverys in the past they have been delicious. I would recommend this pub to anyone.
Brought the girls straight from a party. Covered allergies perfect for my gluten girl and carvery was filled and all sauces available. We asked for another chair and a member of staff brought straight away. Also asked if I needed help with drinks. Toilets very clean and only issue I would point out is very sticky table. I’m sure they would have sorted it but food came out and we tucked in and didn’t have time. Table cleared and not felt to move on. Asked for sweets but very full. Music in background great not too loud. TVs were on with Wimbledon. Enjoyable meal. Thank you KC
Great stay & family get together. Really enjoyed our time eating in the pub and the room was clean, spacious & comfortable. It’s more of an Inn than luxury hotel. Throughout the whole experience from booking to departure the staff where friendly and attentive.
We booked a table for 8 but then an hour before we were due to arrive we had another person turn up. Phoned the Kings Chamber and they added her to our table with no problem. When we arrived we were shown our table and left to order. The staff were great and the food as always was excellent.
Amazing staff and very knowledgeable about allergies! Cannot thank the staff enough for making us and our kids feel welcome. Special shout out to Kerrie and Shannon for their amazing attentive service xx
