Lovely cafe in a converted church. Service a bit slow but lovely coffee. Just dropped in for coffee and cake. Lovely gift shop too.

Travelling UK from Australia. This is easily the best place we've been to for tea and coffee. This is the first place that had proper tea leaves in a pot, and the first decent coffee hubby has had. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was fantastic.

A lovely place, friendly helpful staff, very clean, we stopped for coffee, can of Coke, had Victoria sponge, pancakes, bacon, maple syrup for £16.40p Lots to buy in the gift shop, books, jewellery, cards, candles, scents, and lots more. All in a historic building that used to be the Church Halls.

Perfect spot for coffee cake or light lunch. Set in a converted cavarneous parish hall, food is excellent and there's plenty to browse through in the boutique gift shop. To top it all, pet friendly

We stayed for two weeks in a cottage near town and enjoyed our daily espresso or cappuccino here. The food is also great. Best service imaginable, super friendly and helpful! The store offers very neat and classy things, a nice variety of things you can buy here. We loved it!

Taking tuna mayo sandwiches with salad to the next level. Fantastic food to tease the palate. A relaxing ambience. Attentive, friendly staff. Surrounded by shopping for home and for gifts. The ice creams were lovely too.

LOVELY CAFE IN SMART SHOP. Very tasty menu full of healthy, colourful options. Also has a good range of cakes and sweet choices. The prices for the quality were spot on. The premises has a high ceiling and mezzanine floor, giving a bright, airy feel. The staff were very cheery and helpful. All in all, well worth a visit.

Cafe set in a gift shop. The building itself is lovely. The staff in the cafe were chatty and welcoming and the food we got was top notch. Definitely recommend and will go back.

We had the lunch special (Smoked salmon & cream cheese on a rusty roll served with salad and chips) and the Tapas plate, which were both delicious. A walnut coffee cake as dessert was a great ending. The staff are very nice and friendly and the craft shop in the cafe sells some interesting gifts.

Loved Thomas Tosh, a gem in Thornhill although it's on the pricey side Staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and welcoming. They clearly hire local youth to help out who could do with a bit more training, for example their communication skills need working on ....and one lad picked his nose before his shift started :D Anyway, that aside which didn't have an impact (as it's great to see they hire local youth), they focus on quality. The tapas was delicious and so was the coffee. Definitely worth visiting. The store side of things is WONDERFUL, everything is top quality and it's worth just looking at all the nice things they have in stock. Be aware that they don't put prices on all their products...we ended up paying for a medium jar of presto for £6, it better be good!
