Cute little Tea room with freshly baked goods Loved the Fruit scones and Clotted cream .. it was incredible.. They have a cute collection of gift items and my fav was the bath oil selection . It’s a must visit if you are in North York Moors do visit This team room at Thornton Dale

Went for an afternoon tea as a birthday surprise. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food was so fresh and tasty. Situated in a beautiful setting on a beautiful day. Just about perfect.

We visited lavenders with our poorly doggo and were welcomed with open arms. The service was phenomenal and the food was outrageously good. Coming from someone who has a background in hospitality… go visit!! Divine ✅🙌 thank you

Nice hot chocolate and a piece of. carrot cake. Food being served to others customers looked very appetising. Not 5 stars to it being a bit unfriendly, no smiles etc. A very rude asian family turned up and the young lad serving handled it well.

Beautiful tea room style café right in the centre of Thornton Dale by the beck. Outside seating is a great spot to people watch with your brew. Inside is cosier for cooler or wintry days and the first floor lounge is stunning. The range of food & drink on offer is very good and the waiteresses are friendly and efficient. A great place to stop after a walk around this stunning Chocolate Box village.

Ordered picnic bags for 250 people on a day out from Hornsea to Whitby, stopping at Thornton Le Dale. Fantastic service, good value for money. Happy to support a small business

Visited a while ago with my partner. He had a lasagne and I had a beef and horseradish sandwich, both were absolutely divine! I do have a question - is your horseradish homemade and if it is do you sell it because it was the best I'd ever had!?

In the centre of the village it's outside terrace is THE place to watch happenings going on. Close to the car park too, so its convenient for customers who don't want to walk far!

We visited Lavenders Tea Rooms yesterday (5th April 2023) what a gorgeous place and lovely service. We will definitely return again. We visited with my husbands aunt and uncle who really enjoyed the experience. Many thanks 😊

Even though it was a cold November day my wife and I opted for salad lunches. It was a good decision. The yorkshire ham and the goats cheese dishes could not be beaten. Tearoom is immaculate and owners so helpful and friendly.
