Great food in a friendly and welcoming environment! A larger menu would be great but everything we ordered was lovely.

Lovely food served piping hot and very tasty. We had the Scampi and a burger. Both were good. Only downside was a customer with a Very Loud voice and laugh, but nothing to do about that 🥴

As an expat Tike it war really good to ave a warm Yorkshire welcome in warm Yorkshire pub!! We are staying in Thornton for a two week holiday and The Buck came recommended and it was well worth it!! Such a pretty little pub , service and welcome was top notch and great choice of drinks. We will return on our next visit to Pickering

Beautiful pub, lovely beer garden food was delicious portion sizes were huge we couldn't finish it.

Great pub, lovely atmosphere and food and drinks were excellent . Highly recommend booking a table at busy times.

Had a delicious veggie Sunday roast here. Lots of tables and the staff were all really friendly and attentive. It had a busy and popular vibe. Dog friendly and some nice old features still in the pub.

The meals we chose was a homemade vege burger, home made chips with side salad, must say it was the nicest vege burger I have tasted, food presented nicely,staff friendly!! Observed other customers meals all looked very good!!

Fabulous Sunday Lunch - The Gravy was really good full of flavour the meat was cooked to perfection and the red cabbage was delicious - I loved that they bought extra gravy with my meal that was a nice touch - friendly staff.
