Yum! Worth the wait. Beautiful location in an old rustic sugar shack, filled with memorabilia, history, and goodies to take home with you.
The coffee is hot and fresh. The food is really good.

Outdoor seating was great compared to the chaotic cramped indoor dining area. We pretty much had the area all to ourselves and my fiancé only had one spider scare at the very end of our meal lol.
That might be exaggerated a bit though, it’s because because it’s a great experience all the way through. Sure the wait was a bit much, and cell service was poor but get in, put your name on the list as soon as you can and go for a walk along the pond. It’s pleasant here.

So this was our 1st time coming here for breakfast, I kick myself for not coming here sooner!! This place not only has incredible food but the atmosphere and all the antiques are incredible. This place is a must, almost forgot to mention the prices, this place not only gives you very high quality food from homade and family recipes but they are very cheap!! Less than $30 for breakfast for my wife and I and we will probably not eat again today, give it a shot if your in the area, stuck around if it is busy the food is worth the wait!

Only open on weekends, so I rarely get a chance to go here (despite living 15 minutes from it), but when I do I love it!
Great food, large portions, and the prices have been practically the same for years. By far my favorite breakfast spot. The Country Benedict is excellent and the baked beans are some of my favorites. Just a couple highlights on a menu full of good stuff.
One day I will be here when they do the Apple Cider Doughnut French Toast. One day...

I got the country Benedict
Biscuits with sausage gravy and poached eggs. With home fries. My meal did not come with bacon. They were by far the best biscuits I've eaten in my life and the sausage gravy was perfect and not too peppery.
The waitress was awesome.
My only complaint is that they don't have real silverware. It made it a little hard for me with no metal silverware. But next time I'll bring my cup spoon and fork and it will be perfect.

Such a fun place to get breakfast. You can tour the syrup making facility in the back, so a great distraction for kids while you wait. The breakfast was delicious, I really enjoyed the pancakes and had to order a biscuit on the side to try! So worth it! Also picked up a bottle of syrup to take home.

We were one of the last tables seated on Sunday, 7/2. They were out of a couple of items but good for them! Didn't have to wait too long and once seated we had the best server! Huge portions and our server even recommended a way to sweeten up the tea.

I've tried to come here at least a half a dozen times, but the wait was too long. But today, I must have hit the timing just right. We got seated for breakfast after only about a 30 minute wait. Service was great, the waitress took care of us, but she did forget our coffee but it was busy so I understand completely. The atmosphere inside their little shop is so cozy and we loved all of the syrups you could buy. Food was phenomenal! I got the Shack special with their famous pancake with maple syrup. So overall, definitely a 10 out of 10. Well worth it.

What a great place, we stopped in for breakfast on our way home from Lincoln on the recommendation of some friends at the American Legion. We were not disappointed. Our server Felicity was very nice and efficient. Wifey ordered the design your pancakes, I had The Shacks Big Country Breakfast everything was terrific Ma’s homemade maple beans are the boss. Lincoln needs a Benton’s Sugar Shack, you should really think about it, if you can find the workers in this post pandemic world where no one wants to work. So Benton’s is definitely a must do stop. Cheers

One of the best breakfasts in the white mountains. Phenomenal selection, reasonable prices, delicious high-quality food. Very low key, but cozy dining area.
We’ve had omelettes, French toast, hash, baked beans, home fries, homemade cinnamon raisin toast, homemade banana bread French toast, and coffee - all perfection!
Worth the wait! Check out the awesome little gift shop while you wait for your table.
