Panda Garden Restaurant

Panda Garden (we call it Panda Bear in our family) is one of our favorites. Their food is consistently great I've never had poor quality or been disappointed in any way, and we eat there often maybe once a month. The proprietors are polite and friendly. The portions are generous even a lunch selection will provide leftovers for a midnight snack later on!

THIS PLACE IS 5 STAR WORTHY. Disregard the 3.8 because you are really missing out! This has been my go to Chinese place for 5 years now. Even after I moved, I still travel for here. They are quick, punctual, and caring. If you are upset because they're busy, please be reasonable and give them grace. Staffing is not easy right now, but demand is doubling. I am just thankful that they take the extra time to get it right!

The price is significantly higher than the quality of food. I'll list the items I got: Beef fried rice: the beef was soggy, almost like it was boiled then left in the water for a long time. Sesame chicken: fine, but flavor was off from most sesame chicken (this is my go-to everywhere). Beef skewers: actually pretty good, thicker than most places, a bit more fatty too. Chicken low mein: decent but a bit soggy, I've had much better. Szechuan Beef: probably the best meal we received, good sauce, beef and crunchy vegetables. Milk tea w/boba: the boba was soggy (my friend tells me this is due to the slushy drinkand probably not how they cooked it) *The service was great! I just was so disappointed with the quality versus price. I would have been fine if this was a dollar scoop restaurant.

Great service! We were the only customers here at the time, and a lady came out to greet us immediately. She got us our waters and menus, and within a few minutes our food was ready. Ordered a Hot & Sour Soup, with Sesame Chicken. The soup was a good portion, hot, and tasty. The sesame chicken was huge, with a choice of steamed/fried rice. The texture was crispy and the sauce had a nice spicy/sweet flavor. I do wish it was served with some vegetable of some sort, but I think they intended it to be served family style. Our server was very observant and attentive, she knew we wouldn’t finish our food and had a box ready. I’d go back!
