Fabulous micro pub. Fantastic bar staff. Sooooo dog friendly you have to visit if you're passing. A lovely afternoon was had by all.

Great place in Thornton village. Three real ales were available, Taylors - Landlord Dark was in perfect condition! Many locals were coming and going, with chatty friendly interactions with each other and the barstaff. Parking was a bit of a challenge to get near the pub, a short walk was needed. I would visit again and recommend!! 👍

Nice little micro pub. 4 casks, a few kegs.

Like going back in time.
If you like a touch of history.
I don't drink much but my fella loves a good pint of proper beer in there.
Comfy seats. Nice atmosphere.

Lovely Quaint little bar in Thornton, great atmosphere, outside drinking area. Just needs some outdoor heaters for the cold months 😂

It's not a large pub, it doesn't profess to be. It is however a fantastic hospitable well researched & restored establishment. It serves excellent ale at a very reasonable price.

Good selection of beers, clean yet still historic. Will be back. They have spent months renovating, yet still looks old. So actually done a fantastic job! Give it a try.
