We had been to the Gunton Arms and decided to make a visit to it's sister Suffield Arms. We were blown away by the quality of the food, service atmosphere and art work. If you are interested in serious tapas, you have to go. OK, you pay a bit more than the average pub meal BUT this is not your average pub experience. The staff are fantastic and the food just tastes sublime. Serious tapas. The cured meats are a must. You can probably tell, we loved it and will be back many times.

Not a cheap lunch, but oh my…. the venue, service and food were all amazing!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They even brought me out a little dessert plate for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back for a lunch treat Awesome artwork all around too. Made me smile lots

Love, Love, Love The Suffield Arms. A great venue for a drink with friends but the real draw for me is the tapas and small plate menu the restaurant has to offer. The restaurant itself is modern and offers the options of eating at the kitchen bar, small rooms which could be used for private dining and some great size tables to sit at in the main. When it comes to food the Harissa Lamb and Patatas Bravas are always a favourite. Don’t forget to ask about the specials available. In the past we have enjoyed some exceptional swordfish on skewers and half a lobster. Once you have filled up you could take your drinks outdoors to the lovely walled garden, back to the homely main bar or even head upstairs to the saloon bar to enjoy a cocktail in the indulgent comfort it has to offer. Throughout there is some amazing art on display, small pieces, provocative pieces and even a large piece above the restaurant bar . We enquired about it as we wanted to know more about it and they have an informative document that guides you round. Great touch. There is superb range of ales and larger, always worth asking about the guest ales too to switch it up. No reason not to visit here, this place is so accessible, even though it’s situated just north of North Walsham. The Gunton Station is literally over the road with a regular train either running from Norwich or to Cromer. A great way to visit Suffield Arms and make a day / evening of it.

Visited with friends for drinks and a meal. Got to say I was very impressed. We got the train from Norwich and the Suffield Arms is a 3 minute walk from the Gunton station. The drinks selection is very good and well priced, the food was very good and the decor of the pub/restaurant was amazing. Great to visit as a group or just the two of you. I'll definitely be back.

We stayed at the Gunton Arms for two nights, had dinner at the Gunton Arms on the Friday and at the Suffield on the Saturday (same owner). The service at the Suffield was absolutely amazing. I don’t remember the name of our waiter (sorry about that), but he made our night memorable. We ordered more than half of the menu, the food was stunning.

This is a great place to come and drink a few beers/wines as if you live on the Sheringham to Cromer rail line the restaurant is 150 meters. The prices are comparable with the Brindisa chain in London. In some cases more. The Patatas Bravas are the same price but the portion is 50%. The croquettes are smaller for the same amount. I had an enjoyable lunch nevertheless.

Really lovely tasty food but comes with a price tag. If you like tapas and fish dishes this is a great place. The pizza was also very good. Loved the decor and very attentive staff. Nice grounds and huge garden. We took the dessert home as we were stuffed, it was a plumb tart and was delicious.

Beautiful venue. A Pub that's more than a Pub with some gorgeous rooms to sit in, drink and eat and lose the hours in. Delicious tapas menu and some great wine choices (white rioja being a favourite). Will definitely be back.

What an extraordinary place in the middle of nowhere. We only knew it was a pub/restaurant because of the sign outside (and Google maps, of course). We only knew it was open because there were cars in the carpark! The bar was as any other, but the gem is behind. The restaurant is modern, light and airy with an open kitchen. They serve tapas only and to eat tapas you really have to alter your mindset. Could not possibly question the quality of the food, but I could only describe this as a meal you have just now and then as a treat. The food was superb, but only smallish portions (this is tapas after all). So you really have to buy multiple dishes which makes it quite pricey. Service fantastic and very knowledgeable. Overall a great "experience".
