Love this place, the food is amazing, always go there, they have the best fillet steak we have ever had and the staff are amazing and so friendly
Ive been coming here for years, I have always had the best food and the greatest service, last week Tiffany served us, she was brilliant, if you like excellent food cooked to order, this is the place for you! Also its a family run business, the 2 Brothers (Chris and Mark) that run it are real characters! Don't tell too many people about it tho, we need to keep it our little secret �
Ordered a take-away Roast as im 3 weeks post surgery and didn’t feel like cooking. Well!!!! If THIS is the food you get from them, boxed and delivered I cannot wait to be well enough to visit in person!! Well worth the cost, delicious and extremely generous portions. I will be ordering a smaller one for myself next time. Thank you guys for making my Sunday!!! Ordered a Lamb, Beef and Chicken (couldn’t get pic of beef).
Had a fantastic lamb roast and my daughter had a beef burger. She is a fussy eater but she demolished this burger. Nice pub great food.

Fabulous food for Christmas! We booked the Christmas Dinner and it was utterly delightful and delicious.
Drink, bread and a savoury with sweet maple sauce quickly greated usm
We had crispy potato skins and the home made festive meat slice, then the Roast Turkey, home made Salmon en croute and beef fillet with stilton and peppercorn pie! The servings were good, the Yorkshire pudding perfect, the gravy was rich and the beef pie was astonishingly tasty.
Deserts went down well, the roulade as popular and the Sherry Trifle Cheesecake quite nice.
Aspirations for the cheese board were well intended but we decided we were brimfull and very satisfied.
The pub was nicely laid out, it was a lovely atmosphere but you could chat and hear and service was at your pace and quite tailored.
We had everything we wanted but one felt that asking for extra gravy or something else would have been welcomed.
As we left, warm, full and feeling very well looked after, we agreed that work permitting we'd be back next Christmas day but we'd be back sooner for the excellent meals.
I think you'd struggle to find a better pub than this across the whole of Surrey! Visited last night, a Monday evening for a friend's birthday.
We were all served delicious food, and dietary requirements (allergies) were dealt with very competently and without any fuss. This venue caters for absolutely everybody, and what a happy, friendly, welcoming reception from management, staff and locals! Prices are really reasonable, even without the Monday evening discount. Huge thanks to all, we really enjoyed our evening with you and will definitely be back very soon!
Very nice place to meet your friends, have a good meal and chat over a drink or two. Very clean and friendly place. Nice to see proper table linen for a change. The only downer was an unwelcome 10% service charge. I only noticed after I paid and left a decent tip. Won't catch me again.
The food is very good, we went for a Sunday roast. We were given the sweet menu and wanted another drink but were left waiting for 20 mins, so when we did manage to catch a member of staff, we paid up and left. I just think there is not enough staff, Piers was run off his feet.
What a great place to eat and relax. We stopped with my partner on our way back to Oxford to have dinner. I got the ribs nd she got the chicken. The portions were great and the food tasty. The person that took our order was great, gentle without rushing. Their outdoor space is big with nice comfy pick nick tables.
Lovely pub. Friendly staff, good food reasonably priced. Choice of sitting in the restaurant area (with proper tablecloths !), in the pub area or outside in the large garden with a children's play area.
Highly recommended.
Food a bit slow as over 20 of us, however it came hot to the table and was lovely. Definitely will go back. Nice garden out the back for the better weather. Staff friendly and very helpful. I had Gammon ham it was delicious
Had lovely Sunday roast & dessert. Was in a big group of 14 & we all got our food within a few mins of each other. Roast beef, Yorkshire etc... Roast choices were pork, lamb, chicken or beef. Had the chocolate bomb and ice cream for dessert. Dog friendly pub. Outside smoking area is a huge wooden structure, pool table & lots of tables. Also a grassed seating area & small kids park. Big car park, staff friendly and attentive
