The fish and chips were cooked fresh and very tasty, the curry sauce was too runny and tasted 'different'. I think more staff would have been helpful

We attended the Thraptson charity garage sale and decided to buy some fish and chips. Although we had a long wait the chips and fish were cooked to order and tasted good. The chap serving was on his own and all credit to him made us feel relaxed and happy to wait..
I definitely recommend this place . I saw in the window that they offer a delivery service as well to the surrounding villages and towns .

Food was good and a nice treat after a very long day at work ... but I worry how businesses like this will survive in the current economic climate ... over £15 for two bits of fish and one portion of chips. This isn't a criticism of the restaurant; more a criticism of the neglect of the economy by the government ... life is not good when fish and chips are out of the reach of a large portion (pun intended) of society.

Fish freshly cooked and excellent quality, have to agree with other reviews in regards to portion size (this was takeaway) and new staff. Chips not quite as nice as when first opened. For me the better of the two chip shops in Thrapston

Superb plaice and chips today. Lovely crispy batter and fish cooked perfectly. Will definitely return with the family. And heard someone else order battered Oreo’s!

Absolutely loved these fish and chips backed up with a really friendly service, cooked to order. Spotlessly clean as expected. Ps, try their homemade tartar sauce too.

Very clean and well presented. Staff seem to change every time I indulge in a tasty Cod & Chips. Fish is very succulent and consistently a pleasure to eat. Portion size on the chips is varying (I suspect the change in staff) as the portion size differs almost each time I visit?
