Lovely service and food. It will be my favourite place to stop by the next time I travel through there.

Made space for us as a late booking. All the staff were very welcoming. The place was already decorated for Halloween and looked amazing. The food was all really very good and service was excellent.

Lovely country pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff serving tasty food at good prices and a good selection of beverages. Nice to sit inside or on the decking, but my favourite is the picnic benches next to the little river that flows through the grounds.

Been here a few times over the last year. Food is always excellent. Most recently we went for Sunday lunch and it was a proper home cooked roast, which is nice to see with so many pubs serving "meals at scale" which means lower quality. The service was friendly and polite, however, I think due to staffing issues, we found ourselves having to ask multiple times for things (drinks, desert menus, take dessert order etc). I believe this was due to them being so busy they were concentrating on getting mains out to other tables, so the other service got put to the back of the queue. The only other point is that the kids meals are very expensive. £10 for fish fingers and chips for example, to me this is unnecessary and a potential mental block for people booking. Given how kids meals are such a small percentage of the total bill, it would be a shame to lose custom because of the belief that people are being overcharged for their kids food. Giving the benefit of the doubt though on a temporary staffing issue, I'd still recommend call in if you're looking for good quality food. 👍

We both stopped on the way back home from Pembrokeshire. Lovely food and fantastic service. I had the chicken curry and they offered to spice it up a bit, it was the best chicken curry outside of an Indian restaurant I'd ever had. My wife had fish and chips which were lovely, not a speck of grease on any bit of it. Highly recommended, a must go again experience

I hadn't seen my youngest son and his wife for many months but it was too hot for us to go walking around. Very welcoming atmosphere where we could chat and recover from the heat. We had an excellent meal. All our plates were cleared! Staff were excellent.

Amazing service and extremely friendly staff. We went for Sunday lunch and were able to take the dogs inside as it is very dog friendly. They brought them a bowl of water and a slice of meat which was so kind. Will definitely be visiting again 😊 Visited recently and the food prices have risen quite a lot since my last visit, but I suppose that is happening in many places.

What a beautiful place to spend your Sunday eating a roast dinner that just melts in your mouth. The only problem I had was I was too full to enjoy one of their delicious looking deserts. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we turned up without booking, which turns out we had the last available dinners. They were good as gold. The barn itself is something else, and in the setting of the Brecon Beacons, it was perfect.

This place is stunning inside, dog friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. The locals sit in the corner on the way on and they too are very friendly and go out of their way to talk to u. If you like aok beams or a country retreat with a little wow factor when you walk in then give ot a try. The food is delicious too, with plenty to choose from
