Called in for an impromptu family late-lunch, after a walk in June 2023.
Greeted with a very warm welcome from the staff, and the waitresses were friendly and very helpful with the menu and making some excellent recommendations.
The place was clean and nicely laid out inside and outside, and although very busy there seemed a good amount of space between people.
We didn’t feel rushed at any point, and the atmosphere was relaxed and really made for a good experience. Being very green and leafy, it was nice to just watch a little bit of nature – with a lovely and inquisitive blackbird and robin. The menu offered a really good choice and there were several things each of us would have had. All the meals were large portions and also excellent flavours – not often you expect quantity and quality from a coffee shop. The club sandwich in particular was excellent!
Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be visiting again.
Great little find on my walk. Good 👍 location. Massive egg mayonnaise sandwich £5.95, mug of tea £1.60 (11.09.2023). Crisps on the side was a nice touch. Lovely staff. Thank you 👍
We were staying in our campervan nearby over the weekend and Flissys was within walking distance. We visited 3 mornings in a row for the 'Big Breakfast' and a pot of tea. The food is well cooked and hot. The amount of food was spot on. We asked for the black pudding and hash browns to be removed and we were asked if we would like an extra sausage, fried egg or bacon instead, which we said yes to, fab!
It's a family run business and the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The hygiene is excellent. The coffee shop is run like clockwork, well done girls, we will definitely recommend you. 🥰
We always stop here after our clifftop walk along the coastline. Great coffee and cakes are served up in this quirky dog-friendly coffee shop. Atmosphere is always so friendly, as are the delightful staff!
Fantastic place! We went back 3 times after the first visit. Food is all so fresh, quick service and the cakes, oh my god the cakes!
Doggo loved the dog friendly ice cream! A dog friendly place with water etc.
Clean and tidy!
Wonderful little cafe! Dog friendly inside and outside with a wide variety of vegan options on the menu. Also had lots of vegan cakes and vegan ice cream.
Lovely place! We were on the caravan club site just up the road from Flissys, what a little gem. Great food, staff, outside space and super dog friendly. Would highly recommend
We were invited to find a table. As it was table service we looked at the selection of cakes available and our order was taken. Coffee and cakes were delicious. We paid at the counter after we had finished and had a nice chat and we were invited to look at the garden. The café was very colourful and inviting.
Such a nice cafe! Really reasonably priced - great option for breakfast or lunch especially after a nice walk along thurstaston! Dog friendly which is a huge bonus and they even sell dog ice cream! They have delicious cakes and ice cream for a nice afternoon stop as well! All the staff are really friendly and and they have a lovely outdoor seating area. If driving there are two independent car parks but you do have to pay for parking.
Wonderful cafe, dog friendly, with a great 'sea side' aesthetic. The menu is large and varied, with a fantastic selection of home made cake, cookies and deserts.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived (family of 5) around midday and the cafe was busy, but we were seated and offered drinks within 5 minutes.
The food is excellent and is served in generous portions. (Try the club sandwich, you'll be full for the day)
There is a huge selection of ice cream flavours too, available as a cone or in tubs with a spoon.
No visit to Wirral Country Park would be complete without visiting for a snack, lunch or just an ice cream.
