We went to the ship for the first time today and we were not disappointed the food was lovely and the staff are really friendly we have already booked to go back in a couple of weeks

Popped in for a spot of lunch before a visit to Tilbury fort. The staff were all welcoming. Good food and not dear. Had sausage and chips myself and very good sausages, can't beat a good sausage 😉 Nice little kids area and outdoor covered seating to keep out of the sun or rain

First time to The Ship and it won't be the last , the food was great and the service was very good .The gut buster burger was very tasty . Lacked a bit on atmosphere but we was early diners.
Highly recommend you give The Ship a visit .

I would definitely recommend here for afternoon tea, lunch & dinner. Can't fault them. Good value too! Delicious 😋 Today I had BLT baguette which was lovely & filling came with salad & fries. Good friendly staff.

Four of us just had Afternoon Tea here..great service,delicious food and great value for money(£15per person),they even boxed up what we couldn't eat so we could take it home.
Also extra teas & coffees were given for no extra charge.
Would definitely recommend,well worth it.

This pub is improving all the time. Only rated 3 stars a couple of years back, would recommend 10 now if I could. Lovely pub, with lovely staff and great staff.

Really friendly local with a great atmosphere and large range of food and drinks.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and when we went both the restaurant and bar were packed.
Food was good honest pub food served promptly and the portion sizes were good.
We would definitely go again.

We booked The Ship’s restaurant for my in-laws small wedding reception - 23 of us in total.
Tracey and her staff were all very welcoming, very professional and they made excellent hosts. We had never been to The Ship before but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The food was to a high standard and many of the guests commended the meals they had ordered.
Thank you all for such a lovely experience, it was the perfect end to a memorable day.

Afternoon tea was very nice, service was good. I would come again. Forward a couple weeks we came again for mothers day, food was outstanding and service was quick.
