Lovely place to have a cuppa tea or coffee and a piece of cake or just a light lunch and if the weather is on our side lovely out door seating as well!
also have a fab shop to buy some essentials like milk, bacon, sausages,eggs, vegetables. gifts and handmade cards,
I visited Meadgate for breakfast as a Mother's Day present from my daughter. The cafe had a really lovely cosy feel. The staff were really attentive and very professional and nothing was too much trouble . The breakfast was lovely, poached egg done to perfection and the mushrooms were delicious ! The toast was from a local bakery and it was served with a cute patty of butter. My coffee was so much nicer than those provided in chain coffee houses. After breakfast we visited the farm shop and the nursery and I was able to buy some plants for my garden and they were very competitively priced. I had a very enjoyable few hours there and will certainly visit again !!

For me the styling is a bit dated but that's just me, otherwise great place to be.
Great cafe. And staff are so welcoming. We had English breakfast and it was lovely. Dog friendly to. Will be back again.
