Mad O'rourkes Pie Factory - Tipton - Photo album

Great food. Enjoyed the brisket pie and awesome chips. Black pudding starter was good too. Service was a bit slack to start, stood waiting a while to be seated with no communication from various staff. Service was better later on.
They are always super busy, I wanted a take away but due to it being a Saturday night they were unable to accommodate however they offered frozen pie to cook at home for £3.50 each.. They were absolutely lovely and didn't take much time to cook at all.. I would love to eat in one day, pre booking a
He we go. It was very good. The location might not be the best but it is what it is, where it is. The Pie's are great. The staff are excellent and the service brilliant. A visit won't break the band and quite frankly the portions are enough. You can always ask for more, bigger and better but the pie
Great theme for a pub, quirky and food is very good, so gets really busy at peak times. Food took slightly longer than expected but I booked a table for 7.30pm. So probably to be expected. All table service so even drinks straight to you. Price was reasonable for what we had, and all staff were extr
Fantastic Pie House/Factory! Had the steak and kidney pudding which was massive and packed full, the pastry was extremely good and moist and the orange/battered chips were great. Price is good and there is a full bar. People and atmosphere is family friendly. You can’t go wrong just don’t expect fin
Good solid pub grub and very reasonable prices. A touch of nostalgia going back to somewhere so famous in my youth. Still good and quirky as expected, but possibly not the place of yesteryear. However it is a lot better than when it fell into disrepair. I would go again and will be happy to take ot
We've been to the Pie Factory a few times now and it has always been fantastic. The pies are delicious and so are the puddings. This time we went for the carvery and boy was it worth it. 3 meats on offer and just the right amount of vegetables. It all tasted delicious and the kids enjoyed it too. A
We booked most of the rooms as we had a darts tournament locally. There are 10 rooms. 5 have en suite bathrooms 5 don't. The rrms were clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom lock on one was a bit dodgy being a hook an eye on a sliding door but it was OK. Showers were good. Bathroom was clean. T
I'm fortunate to live near here and it was a frequent haunt long before it became the pie factory. Our eldest son wanted to go for his birthday meal there. My daughter in law and I had the hen pecked pie and my son and husband both had the steak pie (they would have liked steak and kidney but didn
Great food, everyone loved their meals. 2 vegans and 1 gluten intolerant person, we all had a lot to chose from. Great ciders, nice vibe. Very busy which was overwhelming the staff a little but they were doing well. I'm not keen on all of the decor but I think it works. We'll worth visiting!
One word: fabulous! The food was lovely, the staff were excellent I would give you 10 stars if I could! The cow pie was Awesome, my friend and I agreed: the kidneys in the Cow pie, to say the least, were hard. Could do with a little more cooking. The Veg was cooked to perfection. The little
This is a great place. Authentic in everyway to its origin, sawdust on floors, unusual way of serving meals, on spade/shovel heads, tin casserole trays. The food will not disappoint. Generous helpings, real chips. I had full rack of ribs cooked to perfection. Will definatly return. The Staff are bot
Excellent quality Pies lovely pastry, full of tender steak and gravy, The home made battered chips were beautiful also. Afterwards we had desserts which were really really tasty and home made too. Great atmosphere was really busy for a Thursday evening so I'm glad we booked drinks we're reasonably p
First time I've ever been, and I wondered why I hadn't been before. Brilliant tradition black country vibe with a great selection of food and of course the pies. I had the desperate Dan challenge and successfully conquered it. Great fun Evening out, which had a band playing and fantastic peaky blind
Great food and really good service. We were walk-ins and the staff could not do enough for us even though they were very busy. You should give this place a try 🙂👌
There was a group of 8 of us for our meal. It was very busy but we were seated quickly. It took quite a while after ordering to receive drinks and food.We thought the starters and sides were expensive for what we received (although tasted good) but then the main meals were good value for money. Over
We came here for a meal with our 1 year old. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the meals were absolutely huge, for such a good price. We will definitely be visiting again!
Best pies ever!! Value for money too!! Been going here for the past 40years (not even kidding) - Had a great time last week with my mrs and her daughter. - Our server Chloe new her stuff when it came to our gluten-free requirements.
Great place to stay. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped... room 8 has an en suite and over looks the terrace rather than the road so is quiet.. The food is amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. 15 minute walk to the Black Country Museum. Free parking.
