Tiptree Tea Room - Tiptree - Photo album

A good afternoon out. The food was delightful and the staff friendly. There is ample parking and electric car charge sockets. The shop has a wide range of gift items to purchase.
Overall, the experience was good but it was slightly sainted by the rude waitress we had at the beginning. We hadn’t eaten at the restaurant before, and I had an email saying that our table had been booked along with our food. We then got asked for our food choices again which was slightly confusing
Lovely setting and food was great. Had afternoon tea and liked you could choose from savoury or sweet. Very attentive.
Lovely little tea room with great service. There were five in our group we all had the afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwiches and cake and up to three drinks per person. Great value for money. There is also a little shop right next to the tea room for purchasing the famous Tiptree jams, chutne
Lovely tea room serving lunches and afternoon teas - scones with clotted cream and your choice of jam are highly recommended. After enjoying refreshments, there's a small but well stocked museum to look around, charting the history of Tiptree and jam manufacturing. Exhibits range from historic jars
I really liked it here, we had the afternoon tea for 2 and it was delicious, there was plenty there and a nice selection. Staff were really friendly and it was a nice chilled atmosphere. Would recommend and I'd definitely visit again
We booked an afternoon tea and are so glad we did. The tea was lovely, and the staff were more than happy to do multiple refills. We each chose a sandwich filling and then split the two sandwiches. We had coronation turkey and prawn cocktail. They were both delicious. The scones were very fruity an
Delicious food, gorgeous setting, fast service, helpful staff, very reasonably priced, be prepared for a wait, but it's well with it. Shop and museum are excellent too
Lovely place to visit. They were VERY busy. Staff very friendly. Sandwiches are not to be missed! Cream tea was excellent
This was a lovely place to end our weekend away. You do have to queue if you would like a table in the tearoom but they have chairs in the queue area. The scones are worth the wait! They cater for gluten free and dairy free options, too. The jam museum and shop are a must to look round before you le
Another excellent visit. We had a tasty lunch (salad and a ploughman) with hot drinks. Then visited the shop and bought a few items - the extra long spoon is a must! We didn't visit the museum this time but have before. Plenty of parking but we walked there from the village for a bit of exercise. F
Absolutely fabulous tea room with a small but very interesting museum attached to the side. They also have a nice shop there too. I would highly recommend a visit.
Had a gift card for Afternoon Tea which was nearing its use-by date so we took a drive out today. Enjoyed our sparkling tea, brightened up a rainy afternoon! We had 2 rounds of sandwiches of our choice, plus the usual scones and cakes. We had time to have a quick look round the museum before we left
Always Great Food and Service The wife and I visit here bimonthly and have done for over two decades. The food is always fresh and wholesome and the service is mostly top notch. Even when they’re packed out the door, the service rarely disappoints. On this particular visit, we went for the massi
Went there during their annual open farm day. Very special place and proud history, highly recommend.
This unusual venue is really great. The museum is delightful and it has a great shop where you can buy tasty jams and marmalade alongside other interesting gifts. The Tea room is clean and comfortable, and a good selection of food and drinks, cakes and scones. Well worth a visit.
