Very quiet during our visit on a Saturday evening. But it was the evening before the Euros final! Only had drinks but felt very welcomed by the landlord.

Great pub with fantastic beer. Glasses are spotlessly clean and the bar personnel are very friendly. It’s just a shame they have to put up with arrogant customers, who refuse to wear masks although it’s still the law.

5 out of 5. One of the most impressive Inns I have ever stayed at. It's a very vintage Inn set in a quaint village of Bampton.
We booked a room for 4 people, expecting one room. However we were pleasantly surprised that ended up getting a suite with two rooms and a bathroom. The beds were really comfortable. The rooms are very affordable. The price was 5 pound more expensive than Travelodge hit we never would have got so much value for our money.
Customer service was very impressive. We ordered a takeaway and the owner kindly decided to inform us when the takeaway arrived. He also went out of his way to kindly provide us with plates to make it easier for us.
Breakfast was provided with rooms and everything was well cooked. Despite us coming 15 minutes, the owners still.decided to cook us breakfast. Very satisfied!
