4 of us popped in without a booking on Sunday evening 18/9/23, this wasn't a problem for them. We were only intending on grabbing a quick meal but after looking at the menu and the food coming out we managed 3 courses and a couple of bottles of wine. We could not fault the delicious food, big portions great service and at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend eating here.

One of the best Cafes in all of the UK. They were able to quickly and so nicely seat our group and the meat eaters, the vegetarians and even the picky eaters were very happy. And the sticky toffee pudding was ridiculously good. I would put this spot on your list even if you aren't near the adorable town that it is in.

High quality, well presented dishes in a very pleasant restaurant. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. I'll definitely visit again when I'm next in the area.

We had such a nice evening @Clockhouse. The food has an incredible quality because of the local, wild ingredients. Also the owner is so nice, we had a long hike and there where no taxis available in the evening, so she brought us home to the next village. Really recommend this place when you are on holidays in this area.

Overall a wonderful experience. Deborah was a delightful server, very helpful in placing our order. Honestly, loved absolutely everything including the Florida team. The only miss was if you order the cheesecake be prepared for something different if you’re American. It was definitely not the cheesecake we are used too. I would’ve passed on that. The prices on bottles of wine are phenomenal and of course you can take it to go so don’t feel like you have to drink it all. Be sure to look at the specials. My Seafood bisque was incredible. Check out the photos. Really cute atmosphere. You could probably be as fancy or casual as you like.

Delicious meal. Really enjoyed and the staff were really accommodating even though we were walk-ins on a busy Saturday night.

This place is serving lovely food with a distinctive Scottish twist. The venison terrine is a well portioned starter and called "Still game", we had the haddock and pork steak for mains. Both were really tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. Currently reservations are necessary but this should change soon.
