What can you say. It's changed hands recently and is awesome. Obviously awesome means busy, so book early. Great atmosphere, staff, food, and locals love it. Not saying but, only 2 minute taxi from the harbour. There are few places in Torquay this good...

Went for an early Father’s Day celebration with my wife and 2 kids. The decor looks amazing. The waitress was charming and attentive, the food was superb and it was reasonably priced. So pleased to see such a great restaurant in Wellswood alongside other great establishments.
We had an outstanding dinner at Portofino last night. We loved the atmosphere and the decor and thought the enfold and wine was excellent. Fantastic. Really great buzzy atmosphere without being loud. Service was perfect. Food was too. Menu initially looked a little limited but easy to find dishes we all enjoyed.

Quick service, despite it being bustling in there. Hats off to the wait staff. Generally good atmos. Food left something to be desired, certainly not bad though. I will say the prices there aren't absurd.
