We loved our visit to Rockfish in Torquay. We were so pleased they also did a chicken dish. We opted for Rockfish and unlimited fries, mushy peas and curry sauce. We were blown away by the quality of our food and amazing service we received. The fish was beautiful and crispy batter. The mushy peas added an extra definition along with the curry sauce. We asked for extra fries and the staff were more than happy for us to have as many as were wanted. All the food was lovely and hot and served super quick. The location of this fabulous fish and chips venue is perfect as the harbour is just outside along with many shops either side of the restaurant/shop. Fresh caught fish in the coastal area is superb. 10/10

For me when you visit torquay you look for an ideal seafood restaurant and this place is no exception. They have a wide range of local and freshly caught seafood to try. Some of which I've never had before and I love the variety and they are always cooked to perfection. The prices are high of course but you are paying high money for amazing food so worth the money. Like I had ray and brill here for the first time and I was extremely impressed I always hope to try new kinds anytime I visit. I will always stop on by here if I'm in Torquay. Thank you for the amazing food and service.

Great local produce at a reasonable price. It's simple dishes with great quality ingredients. It's not a big place, but there is some outside seating looking over the harbour. There is also unlimited chips refills, which means you don't need extra sides for anyone choosing a salad.
The fish options are variable with the daily catch from Brixham, which you can see across the bay. Great play for a casual meal.

Very impressed and happy we chose to stop here for lunch on a long way home. It's a rare opportunity for me to eat fresh fish that I love so much and this was definitely one of the best meals I've ever had, maybe the best. Mussles were sweet and had a beautiful bay leaf sauce and fresh plaice was so very soft and buttery it was almost melting. On top of that, my daughter (under 2) was served fresh and healthy meal that is so rare to find these days, nothing fried, just lovely flavours of fish, new potatoes and peas AND all meal excluding her allergy foods that is so important to us and made it such a good experience. I really hope we will be able to visit again!

We booked ahead and were looking forward to our visit for some tasty seafood. Unfortunately, the fresh options on the night were not to our liking, so we ended up with fish and chips we could have had anywhere. A bit of a let down, but they can't control what will be available. Quality and service are great, but you'd expect that for what you're paying.

We went to rockfish Torquay today as a family of3 for my birthday. The manager Scott was amazing,let us pick our table,was very passionate about the restaurant,our drinks were brought to the table in minutes,then a lovely young girl gave us the landings for the day, Scott came back and took our order,starters came quickly followed by our delicious mains. We were checked up on and given extra portions of free chips. Great experience all round,we will be back! Lovely little restaurant and great staff

First time in Devon absolutely amazing reaturant. I got the Dover sole recommended by Ivan perfect specially with a beautiful sauce whilst my partner had whole lobster and chips very lucky he got a blue lobster. Service was absolutely amazing greeted by Natalia beautiful lady top hostess along with Megan fully enjoyed our time an if back definitely will be visiting
