Whilst having a day out in Torquay we decided to take a break for a drink and cake… and came across Thyme Out.
We sat at a table and there was a device on the table that is connected to the system so it alerts them if you want to order and even to get the bill!
As this was only a short break we had the Bakewell tarts and Decaff Tea and Regular Mocha.
The cake was good and not dry and the drinks were also good.
For the staff on call (just two of them) they were pretty much rushed off their feet with the customers that were there but they managed it well.
There is a small kiddies play area to keep them amused and plenty of seating for the size of the establishment.
An all in one toilet (accessible and male/female and changing part) is available for use.
Overall a truly good little place that offers the usual fare of cooked food and sandwiches and cakes.

Amazing fat super halumi fries the best I've had for ages. I had a ham and cheese baguette toasted so the cheese had melted it was super yummy and hit all the right spots of what I was craving

First visit and very impressed. Comfortable seating. Very welcoming staff. Love the gadget on the table for letting staff know you are ready to order, payment etc. Good choice on menu. Food well presented and hot.

Great selection. Waffles, maple syrup and bacon with a flat white was my choice. Very tasty and great value. Good friendly staff. Well done to you all.

Wonderful service and the chocolate milk shakes are to die for! There is a fabulous menu and they serve wine etc if you want it.

Got served by Maddie. Friendly and Warm service, very attentive and the food was absolutely lovely. Best Frappe I've had too. Will definitely come back again 10/10.
