Under staffed, was ignored for 5minutes before being served and then didn’t smile when being served.
Would be a great fish and chip shop if they were prepared for busy periods such as Christmas.

We live in the neighbourhood and want to support our local businesses, but I can see why this business never any one in this shop, . Their customer service ( the lady) was terrible, that we didn’t even decide to continue our order. we went somewhere. I suggest you do the same.

Asked for two burgers and was met with "I can't do burgers now". No apology, or offer of alternatives. A simple "sorry, we're short staffed" or "we've been busy and run out of ingredients" would have been lovely. As a local, I won't be back.

One recent Friday evening purchased flake, chips, potato cakes.
The potato cakes were dripping with oil and greasy.
But the fish....my wife and daughter couldn't eat it but I persevered 'cos I was hungry. It had a dry texture and a strange taste. Disgusting and I was on the toilet all that evening and well in to the following day.
Without doubt the worst fish'n'chips ever experienced anywhere (three continents and many countries included).

I've eaten here a few times and each the service has been worse than the last. While the food is good, the owner is horribly rude and makes you feel like you're an inconvenience. The wait times can be extreme, they have no issues putting phone orders infront of instore customers.
Decent food, but the worst customer service in Hervey Bay.

If I could give no stars I would, waited 5 minutes to be served and there was no one in the shop, and someone only came out when the phone rang and served us, and then put the phone down and made us feel like we had made them lose an order. We were served by a miserable old hag who acted as if we were making a 1 dollar purchase when we spent 55 at a place that didn't deserve it. And to top it off the food was terrible, too oily and soggy. Do yourself a favour and go up the road to any other place but here.
