Brew coffee had a bright acidity, which was nice(from seven seed roasters). Beef brisket and sourdough were properly toasted. Nothing extraordinary but it was comforting after a long drive.

The quality of food and coffee was good.
Pork benedit has juicy chopped pork belly as topping and breakfast burger has stuffed fully with different layer of ingredients which I found perfect combination altogether

This is the overall best cafe in Torquay for breakfast and coffee. Great location, good menu, consistent quality and staff who are doing everything they can under difficult circumstances. I also appreciate that they have good airflow inside and umbrellas outside.

Seven seeds coffee beans☕️…ahhhh the aroma is so heavenly, the taste is so smooth & aftertaste is even better. Our first trip outside Melbourne is definitely the best coffee & brekky of The Pond Cafe in Torquay. Highly recommended place…we’re definitely coming back🖐

Came here for breakfast after hearing about good reviews.
Had the best breaky burger I've had in a long time, I probably should have ordered one to go it was that good.
Great coffee and our outdoor table had a nice sea view.
Staff were friendly and on their game.
Would go back for sure.

Service was really good & organised. Coffee was good & food was tasty. Restaurant decor was trendy & well set up with nice artwork & plants. COVID safety was on point with staff checking vax certificates & wearing masks. Got really hot with the sun coming in, some outdoor blinds or fans could be useful. Didn’t have a plain eggs on toast & add ons seemed limited.

Beautiful spot in the Main Street of Torquay.
I had the spicy chicken noodle salad and it was delicious. So fresh and refreshing on a hot day.

Excellent service and meals were quick and generous sized (sushi bowl and the big pond breakfast). On a cold day, coffee needed to be a bit hotter. Outdoor heating 👌Beautiful sea view.
