Jun Jaow Thai Restaurant

Chose this restaurant for my Birthday meal while staying in Torquay for a few days and what a wonderful choice it was Everything was amazing , the food was excellant and all the girls were wonderful , so friendly and efficient. The open plan kitchen was a joy to watch as they turned out one delicious meal after another Thank you for a perfect Birthday celebration my only regret is that we don't live closer so that I could work my way through the lovely menu

A large group (around 20) of us went here for a post-work meal midweek and had a lovely evening - we pre-ordered our food which made things very quick and efficient. The food was all made fresh to order, it was outstanding. The desserts were also spot on. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening, the atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful, the food was outstanding & the staff were so considerate and accommodating. The service is the quickest I’ve ever had in a restaurant considering the food is so fresh. I can’t wait to visit again next month when we return to Torquay.

We visited Junjaow last summer and again this year. It has changed location to a bigger premises from when we came here last July. The new location is just around the corner from its old address. The food and service are consistently great. I enjoyed the sesame prawn toast, chicken pad Thai and tamarind duck on a bed of crispy noodles. (The chicken and duck dishes are halal-which was a bonus for us, as we eat only halal meat).

Visited Torquay for the bank hol weekend and booked for my family to come in for an Easter Sunday Lunch, we were quite a large party (about 15) and the restaurant staff and owners were super lovely and accommodating. All the ladies were so helpful and quick with serving and clearing our table. As for the food best Thai food I’ve had in the UK so far! I cannot stress enough how fresh the food was, so authentic and tasty— the flavour was there and it’s more than worth a visit if you’re in the area! Every single person enjoyed their food and have been raving about it since we left! I would recommend it a million times over. (The Goong Chu Chee really blew us away, good if you like a spicy kick and so much flavour)

What a lovely restaurant, it’s just what Torquay needed, Definitely one of the best and worth the travels to it if your not from Torquay. A decent Thai restaurant with Thai chefs, a lovely clean open kitchen and beautifully decorated throughout. Most importantly the food was absolutely delicious, great value and very good size portions. The restaurant itself is clean, lovely ambience and lovely friendly welcoming staff. We have booked again for next weekend.
