One of the best fish and chips I’ve eaten for long long time and really good excellent customer service. Buttered chips and cod are amazing. I would recommend to everyone who loves fish and chips.

I visited last night for the first time and I can honestly say this is some THE best fish & chips I have ever had! well done everyone at the Torquay Fryer I will be visiting again (and so will my friends) :)

Food is best I’ve ever ordered from a local chippy. And I’m not easily pleased. We don’t make a habit of it but treating ourselves and going back tonight for second time in a weekend; says a lot.

So good to see thus little Gem open again and what a difference. Clean and welcoming. Fish lightly battered, nice and crisp not saturated in grease. Best chip I’ve ever had. This is definitely my local again now even though I live in Paignton, we’ll worth the drive. Well done guys.

Best fish I've ever had from a fish and chip shop. But then again I'm only 90 years old. Should be 6 stars. Can't wait until I can get it delivered, and I'll make sure my friends get some too.

The best fish and chips I've tried in torquay and believe me i'm fussy. Cod cooked perfectly coated in a light crispy batter, battered chip very nice not overly loaded, and curry sauce tasty, will definitely be my goto in the future 😋.

As I am disabled, they collect my order at the door and I can return and they bring my order to me. I could order online but I appreciate the interaction. The fish and chips are always delicious and never vary in quality.

Visited for the first time a couple of nights ago,food was nice,fresh and hot,fairly priced too.The battered chips are lovely but a rarity down this end of the country,I'm from the west Midlands,home of the battered chip and it was nice to have them again,I'll be returning.
