5 stars! From the food to the service. I came in to a beautiful look straight from the door. We found a great spot near the window. The menus are part of the table so there was no faf. The food was the best sandwich I had ever had and the smoothie I got was fresh just like my sandwich. The service was so polite and there was free WiFi. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who is thinking of eating or even just getting a coffee. Very good prices as well.

My husband and I had an amazing lunch here today, but I would like to congratulate The Woods for their exceptional care of their customers with Covid. We were greeted with a smile on entering and shown to our table, social distancing between tables was really good. Plastic on all tables and only waiter/waitress service. The staff were amazing to all their customers.

A group of 15 of us booked here for breakfast to end a fantastic Christmas week near Totnes. We had pre booked our breakfasts and the whole thing worked like clockwork. A very friendly welcome, meals produced quickly especially considering there were a lot of us. We were a mixed bunch of vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters and were all very appreciative of the food and drink. Thank you Mark and staff. I will definitely return

Having worked up quite an appetite Christmas shopping we were looking for a cafe at the top of the town and Woods came recommended. We were not disappointed. Poached eggs, on toast with Salmon. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection and I'm quite fussy about poached eggs but these were spot on. Husband had a full English which was also well cooked, good portions and well presented. Service was quick and friendly and the place overall had a nice feel about it. Nice comfortable seats too. Reasonable prices and would definitely recommend. Worth the walk from the bottom of the town without a doubt.
