Stayed 4 nights, cosy warm room, housekeeping excellent. Food excellent, large portions, lovely friendly atmosphere and staff are great, nothing too much trouble. Live music Saturday was excellent. Located right in the heart of town. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. A lovely way to spend our anniversary.
We stopped here for lunch and we were very glad with our choice. All the food was fabulous and generous portions. I had the chicken fajitas and I really liked them. The shepherds pie and the ham with chips were also good. The price was more than reasonable. The ambience at midday was good too.
Recently had a Roast on a Sunday, OMG it was Awesome. Also been loving an Oatmilk Cappuccino King William IV style. There food is fabulous and reasonably priced, what's not to Love, de nada! Most definitely worth a visit or ten, if you know …
Even if I'm just a pesky Tourist, I can absoloutly reccomend this pub, espacialy the daily roasts are fabulous. Always frindly staff, fair prices. From what I gather nice mix of locals and visitors. My go-to Pub in Devon.
