Looking for somewhere for a meal after a funeral today, seven of us arrived mid-afternoon, not having booked. Obviously this was a quiet time, so I cannot really comment on atmosphere.
The choice of food on the menu was vast, from many regions. All of our meals were well-cooked and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more.

Went there with friends for a curry and all dishes were excellent with lovely tastes and reasonable prices. Also do other meals and Sunday roasts.

Today we had a delivery from Peggotty's,
Roast dinner & 2 kids meals for my fussy eaters!
This is the best food delievery I have ever had!
I never thought I'd say this about a takeaway delievery, but I honestly have no complaints! and not a bad word to say! it was absolutely amazing!

Absolutely brilliant food and service. Stayed overnight in the Motorhome. Will find it very hard to drive past without a return visit 👍

Lovely friendly pub/restaurant.
The food is authentic and is of a high standard. If you have the prawn curry, enjoy the extra large prawns.
Food and drinks are very reasonably priced.
The owner and his team really make you and your pets very welcome.
They have side rooms for pets and their owners,
If you get the chance, have a game of Bedfordshire Skittles or a game of pool, in another of the side rooms.
Or just enjoy your meal. If you prefer to sit outside, there is a snug little area or a larger garden with seating.
Motorhome and campers can stop overnight, but please ring first to ensure a place.
There is some traffic noise, but it's not that bad. Enjoy 😉

Excellent food from starters to desserts covering both English and Indian dishes catering well for vegetarians and omnivores. Generous portions with "doggy bags" available should you be unable to finish your meal in one sitting. Friendly courteous staff and reasonable prices. I like it so much that I'm a regular guest there.

Met here as this was a mid ground place for my mum and I and we absolutely loved the food, mains very very tasty, especially the Indian food and deserts just as good!
The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, and the manager was very welcoming.

Outstanding food at a reasonable price. Very friendly man behind the counter. I had the chicken tikka baguette with mango chutney and lettuce with chips and side salad. 10/10 for the baguette. Chunky chips cooked perfectly and lovely salad with very tasty dressing.
