Looking for somewhere for a meal after a funeral today, seven of us arrived mid-afternoon, not having booked. Obviously this was a quiet time, so I cannot really comment on atmosphere. The choice of food on the menu was vast, from many regions. All of our meals were well-cooked and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Today we had a delivery from Peggotty's, Roast dinner & 2 kids meals for my fussy eaters! This is the best food delievery I have ever had! I never thought I'd say this about a takeaway delievery, but I honestly have no complaints! and not a bad word to say! it was absolutely amazing! It was so yummy & worth every penny.. I will deffo be ordering again! thank you very much!

Lovely friendly pub/restaurant. The food is authentic and is of a high standard. If you have the prawn curry, enjoy the extra large prawns. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced. The owner and his team really make you and your pets very welcome. They have side rooms for pets and their owners, If you get the chance, have a game of Bedfordshire Skittles or a game of pool, in another of the side rooms. Or just enjoy your meal. If you prefer to sit outside, there is a snug little area or a larger garden with seating. Motorhome and campers can stop overnight, but please ring first to ensure a place. There is some traffic noise, but it's not that bad. Enjoy 😉

Excellent food from starters to desserts covering both English and Indian dishes catering well for vegetarians and omnivores. Generous portions with "doggy bags" available should you be unable to finish your meal in one sitting. Friendly courteous staff and reasonable prices. I like it so much that I'm a regular guest there.
