Me and my family returned for our second visit of the holiday so far today (and there will be more!) Not only is the place decorated amazingly with such attention to detail but also the food and service is fantastic. Our waitress in particular also had family from Stoke where we are from and took time to acknowledge the children and added a lovely personal touch to the service. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was incredible and the chocolate brownie desert is to die for! I will certainly be back once more at least before the end of the week! The ice cream bar with a HUGE selection of fantastic flavours at the front of the restaurant is also incredible, and was a huge hit with the kids and adults alike! Highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!

Had a really enjoyable meal here earlier. The 2 people who had children's portions as they have small appetites were both surprised by the Sea Shanty version of 'small' yet l noticed that, despite their protestations, they both left nearly, if not quite empty plates. Both said that they couldn't bear to leave it as both fish and chips were delicious. Loved my pasta dish and the salted caramel ice cream after it. We had a lovely waitress who was really helpful and friendly. Just a pity that we live a 2 hour drive away!

The restaurant itself is very nicely laid out and has a very nice atmosphere, love all the sea related decorations, even had the shipping forecast in the toilets which I thought was a cool touch. The greeting and initial welcome was friendly and helpful, we had our dog who was welcomed and fussed. We ordered the steak sandwich which came with fries and salad and a couple of shandies, the dog had some dog friendly ice cream, this came to £42. The food was delicious and of good quality, probably the best steak sandwich I've had. Highly recommended 👌.

This was a right find, we didn't book, had 3 small dogs and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a meal and drink. The food came out quickly and was excellent, good portion sizes for feeders amongst us. Once you have had your meal, you can walk it off on the beach just 30 seconds away. The menu had plenty to offer at great prices. Would return to Anglesey just to eat here again.

The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I recommend the Whitby Scampi, which was succulent and breaded to perfection. The portions are on the large size, which makes for a really good value meal. The service was friendly and warm and efficient. The restaurant is licensed with a decent choice of alcohol. There is also a very popular ice cream parlour at the front and an open bar on the side, which is open to an extensive decking area overlooking the beach. I highly recommend a visit if you are ever in this beautiful part of Wales.

This place is utterly magic, it’s somewhere I will never forget. My wife and I were travelling through this town and were advised to go here by a local. The staff seated us without a reservation despite being extremely busy as it seems they always are and we had the best meal of a whole travels across Wales. The staff were a little slow but I can forgive this as the waitress admitted she was new and still learning, her team picked up the slack anyway so was all good by us. I strongly recommend you free the steak sandwich and mussels. And make sure you check out the decor, it’s something to remember.

An absolute gem, we were hungry and looking for somewhere to eat. We approached from South Stack, and it looked OK. When we went inside, it was anything but ordinary. What a stunning restaurant this is the walls and ceiling are a feast for the eyes, so many curious items, boats, jars of sand from all across the globe, flotsam and jetsam, shells of all types. This meant that you ended up talking about it with complete strangers. Moving on to the food, fantastic choices, many are suitable for or can be adapted to a gluten-free diet. It was delivered in a timely manner, no long waits, even though it was very busy. The staff are excellent, always available and very attentive without being overbearing. We will be back. It is child and dog friendly. Couldn't recommend Sea Shanty Cafe highly enough. You won't be disappointed.

Huge restaurant by the sea, dog friendly and a great variety of food and drinks. The food was great and service too. Lovely place to stop before boarding the ferry. They do doggie ice cream and our puppy loved it. The walks around the restaurant were good, sadly it didn’t stop raining but it was still pleasant.

We really enjoyed our visit here. It's much bigger than I expected and I thought there might be a bit of a wait for the food, but there wasn't. The service was excellent. Staff are really helpful and attentive and the food was great. I had the chocolate brownie with ice cream and honeycomb and I think I'd drive all the way to Anglesey for that alone - it was divine! The best I've ever had.

We visited in the summer and it was very busy in the early evening. Though we didn't have a reservation, we did manage to get a table. The staff were very accommodating. On a Thursday night, the place was hopping. I ordered Calamari to start and the Chicken & Smoked Bacon Carbonara pasta. My wife had the Local Welsh Sirloin Steak. Both meals were incredible. Topped it off with some ice cream. Highly recommend. Suggest booking a reservation instead of just showing up like we did.
