best wetherspoons ive been ,very clean and tidy ,staff were very accommodating and helpfull,food was excellent, i had the half chicken with lime and herbs,my eldest son had the serloin steak and my youngest son and the boneless box all with chicken strip starters π fantastic all drinks were cold and cheap well worth a visit if your in town
It's basically like one big hall. Very spacious. Although, there is an echo and nothing in the way to block sound, so you hear everyone's conversation. If there is a rowdy table, you are hearing it, although that actually might add to the atmosphere of a pub, for some. Everyone was nice, but if you get some 'lad(s)' there, I think it will ruin it
Food was what I expected from Spoons and the staff were friendly. There were reserved tables, though, and quite a lot of them. You are forced into the center away from the best seats. I don't think I've ever seen reserved seats in Spoons before, but there are a lot of them here
A free carpark is nearby, to stay for 24 hours. Quite a nice looking building and area, too
The best trio is nachos, chicken wings and ham and mushroom pizza. Add pint of Corona and you are in heaven ππππππ
In need of a breakfast on our way up to Snowdonia we stopped off. As with so many Witherspoon pubs it is in a beautiful building. The staff were friendly and my American breakfast was delicious

One of the best Wetherspoons I've visited. Food has gone down-hill a bit since lockdown, portions much smaller and quality of some dishes not so good. However, I imagine this is the case with all branches. Staff are lovely, friendly, helpful and professional.
Breakfast and dessert are very average, but easy to sort out hungry stomach with affordable price. Toilet is clean. Comfy spacious room.
I am in the process of moving home and visited the Olympia in Tredegar for a late breakfast. The staff were all professional and very efficient. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and very aporoachable. The food itself (I had eggs benedict) was absolutely delicious, as was the coffee and orange juice. This was a perfect visit - enough to keep me going as I load and unload my belongings from car to flat! I WILL BE BACK - that is a definite!!
We had drinks only on a Sunday afternoon. It was lovely to watch the Wimbledon men's final. Lovely atmosphere in the pub.
went there with my boyfriend and his special needs dog and they were very welcoming we met the head chef and he was such a doll, food was to die for we had a wonderful mix grill the staff was lovely will recommend please come β€οΈ
