Such lovely restaurant, great for a date or to take friends. The restaurant is very pretty inside too. Free parking at threntham estate.
Tapas is their main thing, really good variety. Desserts also very nice. First time there but will visit again!
The lady serving us was also super nice.
Definitely recommend.
My wife visited here last Thursday with 3 friends. They all have nothing but praise for the restaurant, staff, food, etc.
My wife is Coeliac with serious repercussions if she ingests gluten, however small an amount, but she was fine with everything they ate . She said all the dishes were freshly cooked and served from the kitchen, the wine was chilled perfectly, the coffees were delicious, and the service was second to none despite the establishment being a waitress down at a busy lunchtime session.
The waitress/owner named Jess was nothing short of delightful despite being run off her feet, and there were no long waits for anything. Matt, the chef / owner, works equally hard and is very friendly, too.
They said they would definitely return.
Well done, Jess and Matt! ( hope we got your names right)
We went last year for our anniversary in May and it was superb, if a bit expensive. So we went again this year for Valentines Day and it didn't quiet live up to expectations. No toilet paper in the ladies toilet, twice, no rose or love hearts on the tables, needed to ask for the tapas menu as we were only given the valentines one, wine served in the ice bucket which we had to open ourselves with no napkin around it, served coffee with no biscuits or sugar and we needed to tell the staff how to make a coffee liquor. I'll end on a positive.. the food is amazing, if a bit expensive. Shame because its a really nice restaurant in a good location with ample free parking.
Visited Can Do Cocina for the first time at the weekend and what a brilliant time we had!
We've been meaning to visit for ages but due to covid, we didn't try the takeaway (due to living like 30 mins away) but we finally visited.
The food was absolutely stunning! If you love garlic, it's the place to be! Every single dish we had didn't disappoint. Personal recommendations are the garlic and chili flatbread, gambas with tomatoes, chicken pinchos, garlic mushrooms and the patatas (bravas and aioli versions).
Between our party we had pretty much everything on the menu and with drinks came to about £33 per person. For the sheer amount of incredible food we had and a few drinks, this was more than reasonable. The staff were friendly and the food arrived very promptly.
We can't wait to visit again soon!
+ The food was tasty, priced well and the portion sizes were fair.
+ Service was good and the staff were friendly.
+ Food came out quickly, which is important for tapas.
- Some of the seating it questionable with the metal chairs being particularly uncomfortable on the lower back. Coupled with weird cross supports on the tables, you really need to be careful where you sit, especially if you're staying for a little while.
Overall a nice dining experience. I will be recommending and eating here again.
We went hear when was the old david brasserie and always wanted go since. But its a place that slipped our mind.
After walking around trentham gardens this week was one of them moment.
We wanted try this place so we booked for the day after.
If its in the diary we wont forget.
A fee of us went and was amazing the female owner welcomed us, also served us.
Very polite and funny, some other places should take note from this we really enjoyed this.
We had around 20 tapas plates between us and a variant of food.
From breads, albondigas, chorizo and tortilla and more
Food was hot, very tasty, and a great place to visit.
Will be booking again and not leave it so long next time
Thanks again and highly recommend visiting.
Plenty of choice for everyone
Lovely food and lovely people! Been here many times now and will keep coming back. They have such a wide variety of tapas dishes - never had a bad meal here. Service has always been excellent, and the staff are so accommodating and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Our first visit and most definitely not our last, the food was amazing, my somewhat critical husband was for the first time in 35 years speechless with the whole experience. The food was incredible and more importantly for myself had a really good gluten free selection, we were served by one of the owners who went through the menu with me and also informed the kitchen of my food intolerances, an amazing night in restaurant that we honestly cane across by accident, oh the cocktails get an honourable mention as well.
Had a great lunch here. The tapas dishes were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Definitely will be returning soon.
Always wanted to try this small restaurant in trentham gardens. Booked table three weeks ago by phone but booking had been lost (not a good start!). Good choice of tapas, perhaps slightly expensive. Waitress service was good. Meals were tasty and just enough. Dessert menu is quite limited (only three choices on the evening we dined) and arrived in two halves.
Overall a pleasant experience and would go again but not good enough for five stars.
