Best fish and chips in town, in my opinion.
Lovely crispy batter, none of that stodgy mess you sometimes get. Good fish, generous portions and good service. Highly recommend

Being from Yorkshire finding this little gem has made my day! Fish with no skin or bones! Wow! Just like being back in Halifax! Gorgeous fish, gorgeous batter, and chips to absolutely die for. Absolute perfection. We live well over an hour away but will be returning! Thank you for our little taste of 'home'.... Only thing that I was disappointed with was that I couldn't put on my own salt and vinegar and they didn't put enough on and I like a lot of salt! So leave the salt and vinegar on the counter! :)

I like this establishment because they serve up nice chunky chips. However, they do a really good Spam Fritter so that is why I went there, unfortunately the spam Fritter have reduced in size with was a bit disappointing as they used to be a good 1 centimetre in width the ond I had was sadly about half that.

Lovely fish and chips the staff are friendly and willing to get to your specifications. We go there every week for our chippy treat and best of all the fish is skinned and boned!

Also batter sausage and fish cake good.

It's our local chip shop and generally good quality and service. Occasional waits at busy times, but that's to be expected. Chip portion size can vary depending on who is serving!

Had a lovely piece of cod with awesome crispy bubbly batter and some breaded scampi that was cooked perfectly nice and soft and piping hot, will be visiting again every time we're in town.
