So hard to highlight perfectly everything that made our Saturday lunch at Crockers so epic.
The food is beyond amazing - but you can tell that from all the other reviews and pictures, right? Tasty, beautiful, fresh and you can just see and feel how much thought, time, effort and care goes into crafting some truly memorable dishes. Just when you think the food cant get any better, you then take a sip of the recommended wine they pair with it and wow, wow, wow.
There is a lovely, calm ambience both downstairs in the bar and in the restaurant. You are made to feel like welcome and wanted guests. Our group had the Chef's Table to ourselves so our lunch was also accompanied by a lot of loud and raucous laughter, which was positively encouraged and enhanced with the very entertaining chat of Luke, Scott and Ian.
The cost of the meal and drinks (with wine pairing) is great value for money. It's certainly not as steep as most fine dining restaurants, yet the food is as good as any I've ever been to, combine that with the overall experience and it is way better in my opinion. It's not cheap but it's so special, it's fine dining, it's unique and I cannot wait to go again. Luke, Scott, Ian and Jess I can't thank you enough. We came, we saw, we ate, we drank and we laughed. A lot.
Brilliant from start to finish!
Just wanted to say a big thanks to you all for the excellent meal and experience celebrating my wife's birthday. We were extra luck to have the place to ourselves. the food was fantastic and it was a very relaxed and interesting experience. We will be over to try Tring and evening meal although I think I'll need to starve myself for 24 hours before trying that menu to make sure i could eat it all! Thanks again! Scott and Keltin.
Amazing Chef’s Table experience at Trina! Absolutely loved every single dish of our 9 course menu. The ambiance, quality of food and creativity was impressive. Will definitely come back!
Most fabulous fine dining tasting menu that I booked for my fiancées birthday. Food is just sublime. We did the wine pairing as well which was delicious and every course was beautifully explained. We felt incredibly well looked after and had a wonderful evening
This was a birthday treat for my fiancée and I to go to Crockers for their Chef's Table tasting menu. It absolutely blew our minds as to how delicious all the food was plus being able to see the chefs at work at preparing and plating all the food was amazing. By no means could I say I'm any kind of food critique but everything tasted sensationally good.
Great attention to detail and interaction with all the staff and chefs throughout adds a nice personal touch to proceedings as well.
One or two minor points were that after having had about 2 weeks off to do some renovations on the restaurant, they hadn't any mint or crushed ice for a couple of their pre-dinner cocktails. That was a shame but by no means a disaster.

Outstanding! We had a brilliant meal in the Downstairs Dining Room. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the staff were all brilliant. Easily one of the best dining experiences we have had locally for a long time. Can't wait to come back and try the Chef's Table!

The food was excellent and brings back childhood memories.
Crockers rules - a true culinary experience without being at all showy. Chef’s Table showcases great dishes alongside playful commentary from the team in an informal setting. It’s really fun to watch the skill and technique of the kitchen. Downstairs bar for drinks ahead of the tasting menu is a great way to start an evening.
